  1. Because of the angle of the chainstays... Just think about it. The reflection will be the opposite of the frame, so it'd be like this: / \ Get it?
  2. Looks well nice! Subtle colouring on the rims stops it from looking so boring... Good job!
  3. You wouldn't hit it al all! The bolt runs through the dropout, and into the chainstay. So it's protected! The only thing you could hit is the adjuster, but even that'd be hard to do as it doesn't stick out so much.
  4. Guys, seriously, if you've had problems with him then report him! We can't let him continue to rip people off, or STEAL their money without permission! Moaning on here will let other potential customers know, but I don't think he should carry on running the shop AT ALL.
  5. I got bored of it after 2minutes... All seemed the same to me?
  6. That's the EXACT video I've been waiting for to make me want to ride again! Truely inspired stuff. Loving the sidehop to pedal, then straight up to wheels. The 270 drop to bank, the gap to front to footjam whip! All of it! Was mental. Loved it.
  7. Coloured rims are as far as I'd ever go with my bike, and I have white rims! (Were black...) Reason for this is black goes with everything, plus coloured parts look tacky to me. I'd rather have the frame/forks coloured, and the rest black/silver. Looks best in my opinion. Which is my my Zona is exactly that!
  8. It's ok, they'll all hop off the bandwagon at some point!
  9. 1/8th for mod. If I were you, I'd get a normal, stropnmg chain, KMC Kool or something, then just buy a single half-link and add that. Seeing as most half-link chains don't last long for trials, as they stretch so much!
  10. Exactly. I was hoping you'd soon understand... I think the allen key head inside the wheel pushing bit (what's it called?) and the thumbwheel is probably the best idea. As long as all the threads are strong enough (helicoiled?) then I can't see it causing that many problems really!
  11. Please explain to me how you'd do up an allen key bolt where the head is INSIDE the chainstay?
  12. Tried it in a different browser? I can't see how it's your ISP's fault really... Might aswell ring them anyway! Anything for a good moan eh?
  13. You only need one half-link. Seeing as two half-links makes one whole link, so the only extra adjustment you'd get is the length of one half-link! I run one in my chain, and it's been fine! I took one out of my mates spare links from his Shadow Conspiracy one, although before that I bought a KMC one from AlansBMX, which I gave to Muel on here, thinking I no longer needed it... EDIT: Found one for cheaper than Alans, if it's a 1/8th you're after: http://sourcebmx.co.uk/product/drivetrain/...link/1245.shtml
  14. I did think that earlier! Have the head of the bolt inside the block that pushes the axle, so you drill a 5mm hole for the M5 bolt (or whatever) then a 10mm hole just deep enough for the head of the bolt to sit in (10mm was a guess!) So like said, if the thumbwheel does get stuck, you can still get the bolt out to clean up the threads/replace the bolt, as long as you can find a way to stop the thumbwheel from turning!
  15. All smooth looking here too! Check your display settings, usually with resolution, etc I think?
  16. My Xbox has flashed the red circle a few times, but I just switched it off and on again, and it was fine! Used to do it when the cables front the Xbox to the TV weren't quite in properly. Hasn't done it in ages now!
  17. But this built in tensioner would be so much better than snail cams! I can't see why you'd want to use snail cams over this? Jon: The end of the long bolt will be inside the chainstay, so you wouldn't be able to get to it at all!
  18. I quite like the gold bars actually! Which is a first, I usually hate gold parts! A black hub would be better, but you can't have everything can you...
  19. My mate has a tensioner like that on his GasGas EC300 enduro bike. Although instead of a thumb wheel, it uses a larger bolt (bigger wheel) with a normal nut on it, so you can use a spanner on it. If you get that thread dirty, which could happen, then you could get the thumbwheel on it stuck, and by the looks of it there isn't really a way to get any tools on it to help it turn!? I do like the intergrated tensioner idea though, but I think a normal nut on there with enough space for a spanner would be better. Then if the nut does get ruined, you can easily replace it!
  20. I serviced mine ages ago! It's pretty easy, as long as you remember how it all goes back together! When you do/did yours, how many ball bearings did you have in it? I only had one, and seeing as it looked like it needed 3, I put another two in! Think it improved it!? I just cleaned the insides out, packed it full of grease, then put it back together. Easy!
  21. I'm bored of that font. You guys have runed it! Well done.
  22. All Dan ever seems to say in these topics is 'Hi, please ring/email me and we can sort it out' which is useless, because many people have tried to contact him, but get nothing back. If he does happen to read this topic, I'd like it to get sorted out on here, just so everyone can see what's going on first hand, instead of hearing one side of the story from the customer.
