  1. Do I have to stop calling people faggots now then?
  2. Aitch and zed. 'Ache' isn't right, as that's like 'ake'
  3. So much for my plan! Saw my bike sat there so I decided to service my Profile, as you do... Spent ages on that! Plus I was talking to JonMack about weight-weenieness.
  4. Just read into it a little more, and I don't think I could just drop whatever I'm doing for a nap. If I'm awake and doing something, I'll just get on with it until I sleep. I'd have a hard time trying to get used to that sleeping pattern...
  5. I wanna go back so bad. Epic video for an epic ride, well done!
  6. I think what I'm going to do now is go to bed at 11 tonight, without having the TV on or anything, and wait until I fall asleep. Then tomorrow half 10 or something, exactly the same, and then 10pm. Then as soon as I'm awake, jump up and have a shower, breakfast, and get to work on whatever I have to do. That's the plan, at the moment I just sit at the computer until I get really bored, turn the TV on and watch whatever until around half 2, then go to sleep. I then wake up around 11, laze around until 2pm, then finally do something. It's not good...

    Creaking :|

Probably is just dirt/grit on the BB spline... As said, just clean them up and copper grease them, they should be quiet then.
  8. Things he could work on, not using the same clips over and over, find someone better with the camera. I saw more of the road than that grassy bit he was sidehopping! He's got good backwheel control though! Like it.
  9. I hope the spanner wasn't dirty/greasey at all, otherwise you'd have contaminated the rotor! Rotors are steel, so they can take some abuse! Shouldn't weaken it by much, if at all, by bending it and bending it back slightly.
  10. Sorry, I did rush through that reply. I meant the pawl and springs are the same, from what I've seen from my mate's one on his BMX. I'm sure I've seen some in a female axle for racing? Not 100% on that. I didn't realise they have fixed drivers! Ignore what I said then, I thought they were more similar than they are.
  11. Just to be sure, you are running 18:12, right? On my Zona Zip, I have to run a half link, otherwise the wheel sits slammed forward in the dropouts, and I can't line my brake up, or it sits right at the very edge of the dropouts, and I can't line my brake up. I've ran a half link in my chain for ages now, and it's been fine! Got one off the net for about £1 too.
  12. If Neon have given you the items, then surely they're yours now? If Neon sent them to you through Dan, then you have something to claim for, seeing as they're not his to keep, Neon wouldn't want them back as they'd still have to send them to you. Contact trading standards and explain it to them, what's the worst that could happen? Atleast then they'd realise what his company's like, and could sort it all out.
  13. There isn't a trials specific Profile hub. Most common are the Profile Mini cassette hubs, which is what I have. It's smaller than the 'normal' bmx one, so it's lighter, and also uses a female axle with 10MM bolts. Very good hubs, although the bearings can break fairly easy. There's another bmx hub called a Primo Mix, which is the same as the Profile inside, but it uses stronger roller bearings, which you wont break.
  14. You're bount to if you work in a good/popular bike shop though, considering how long you've been there now, which is a pretty long time now isn't it? I know what you're saying though, used to spot people on bikes I'd sold them around Bicester from when I worked in Halfords there. Funny when people would spot me out riding expecting me to remember them...
  15. To be honest, Tarty and Select would be your best bet. I heard DeltaBikes are good too, but I've never used them before. STAY AWAY from Trials-UK, as you're gambling your money with them, you never know if you'll get the part you ordered, or see that money again.
  16. It depends where you live though really. I can leave my bike outside the shop in my village for as long as I like, unlocked, no one watching it etc, and it's fine when I get back. I left it in my front garden overnight once and it was fine the next day! I can even leave it outside a shop I'm in, in town if I need to... Wouldn't dare do it anywhere else though!
  17. Was just about to suggest sticking an extra backing on to each pad!
  18. I would've been one of them, I couldn't find my one before we left! Was sat in the Mini in the garage.
  19. I don't wear mine on local riding, mainly because none of it is big stuff, and I've ridden it all to death anyway! Not really an excuse, but it's my choice... blah blah. I usually take it with me though, if I find something big/new to try... Wear it at new places too.
  20. They're horrible pads! Half the length, but twice the rubber on them! Which you need as they wear out so fast, make a horrible noise, and are generally terrible pads.
  21. One of my cranks is missing a lockring, only noticed the other day. I think the thread bit is seized in anyway, so it's never caused me any problems! I wouldn't recommend it though, seeing as they're there for a reason, I think I'm just lucky with mine...

    Partz Palletz 1

I'm loving all these short videos we're all bringing out. Liked the video, got a little repetitive with all the taps, but yeah, nice one.
  23. I have a 203 BB7 on my mod too, and it's stupidly powerful! Can feather it to slow down on steep hills etc, and they it definately locks when I need it too.
