I need a sticker saying that! haha. It can't go lower

You've pretty much described what happened to it! Haha Mine's okay though, right?

Another pic of mine from today: I got some cheapo main beam bulbs which are a nice white light instead of yellow! So it all matches with the HID's and the sidelights. I fixed my limp mode problem at last too! Fitted a de-cat pipe and cleaned the EGR valve (will be deleted soon!) and it seems to have done the trick! We have a strange electrical problem with Steve's light. The main beam bulb on the driver's side doesn't work. We've changed the bulb over, checked the connections, checked the fuse, and it still doesn't work! It's a replacement headlight from a slightly older model, but we even swapped all the wiring from the old light as we knew it worked, and still nothing! Really strange. Any ideas!?

Up to 30mm protruding, but the tread has to be covered by the arch. There's a bit of a grey area in the laws on tyre fitment... there's not actual rule (from what I can find!) on what size tyre goes on what size rim, only recommendations by the manufacturers. Which is how I have 215/45R17s fitted to my 10J wheels. On another note, I finally sorted the limp mode problem on the Audi! I fitted a de-cat pipe, and gave the EGR valve a good clean. On top of everything else I've done to try and solve it, hopefully it will be running sweet for a long time now! Got some EGR delete blanking plates on the way too, so that will stop the intake and turbo getting clogged up with crap again! Not bad for 185k miles!

Bead sealer wont work as it is used to fill in the small gaps from corrosion to get a better seal on the tyre. It's not a glue...
-
Hahaha so did I! I like the Merc' wheels though, suit the Alfa really well!
-
Would ceramic bearings be a possibility for these?
-
I've had a spoke missing on the drive side for ages because of this problem! And because I'm lazy... Never caused a problem though.
-
Cut it out and put a funky new patch of carpet in.
-
My neighbours Fiesta did that this morning! She just drove off with one wheel locked.
-
Wide spacers put a bit of strain on the wheel bearings, but I guess my 10J rears kinda do that too... But yeah, long bolts with spacers aren't exactly safe. The ones that bolt onto the hub, then bolt the wheels to the spacer = better.

Pshh... I've done 10k miles per year of owning my car, and I had it at standard height for a week before I slammed it.

Microfibre wash mit.

Testimonial... True story! - http://www.accidentclaims.org/

The way I see it, my car is coming up to 185k miles, it has some lacquer peel here and there, the paint on the rear arches has been attacked by previous rear tyres, and there's a few tiny car park dings on it. It's a daily driver, not a show car! I like all the little blemishes though to a point, makes it a bit more honest?
-
They cause swirl marks in the paint, but that's if you wash it 20 times a day and if you throw the sponge at the floor several times per wash. The odd sponge wash every now and then wont hurt it.
-
Shiny shiny stretchy stretchy... Had it machine polished 3 months ago, and haven't polished it since! Gave it a quick bucket and sponge wash at work today and it's still looking good!
-
I never liked it here anyway... You have failed the practice citizenship test. Questions answered correctly: 10 out of 24 (42%) Time taken: 04 minutes 36 seconds

I'm trying to persuade Steve to spend £750 on some Land Rover Mondials with tyres and adapters... They look SO good on Mk4 Estates... Can anyone make sense of this? I did a log in VAG Com in 3rd gear between 2-3000rpm. Trying to solve my boost issue! It goes into limp mode if I rev it up too high in 5th, and it seems to lack boost. I've cleaned out the turbo and inlet manifold before, and also replaced the N75 and have cleaned the MAF sensor. Still goes into limp mode! I'm guessing it's a boost leak somewhere, and I've checked all the pipes but can't see anything obvious! I've ordered some silicone vacuum hose to replace all the old ones, might help... maybe the car will like all the new blue hoses. That makes it faster, right? I've checked the actuator arm for movement too, by fitting a hose to the top of it, and sucking. I can see the rod moving up with pressure, and it looks like it holds it too! But I cant be too sure... The fault code i'm getting is p17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation

I want to see it but it's private.

Winter tyres generally work at 7c and below. They do wear quick(ish) in normal conditions, but it's because of the design of them. The tread moves around a lot more and makes it feel as though the car is wobbling down the road! In other news, I put my standard wheels back on, and haven't gotten stuck yet! Normal crappy budget tyres on them too!
-
Wide wheels are useless in the snow, but still look cool.
-
Haha yes it is! Didn't even notice it was that obvious in the picture! The airbag light is on, because the control module has a fault. It's not that expensive to replace, but the job involves taking the whole centre console out to get to it! And I just can't be bothered.
-
Cheers! It's only coilovers, rolled and flared arches, inner arch being cut/rubbed down a lot, and wide wheels.
