  1. I have an Acer desktop. Put in another (bigger) hard-drive, and upgraded it to 1GB ram, it's fine! Sister has an Acer laptop too, bit dated now, still alright though. Does the job, isn't slow...
  2. Deodrant. Believe me, the tar will just run straight off!

    Crossover Idea

What I once done, was used the clear piping (Halfords windscreen washer tubing) heated it up, and fed the crossover through it, then fitted the barbed ends. Made the cross over much stronger!
  4. Yes. Yes. Yes. They're a nice, strong, long frame. Pretty weighty, but you don't really feel it. I've had mine set up with a low Monty PR stem, and it's perfect! Wheelbase is around 1040mm with Echo Lite forks. I'm not sure about the rest of the geo' on them though. Give one a try though, they're great frames.
  5. Incredibly, the company shuttered its factory holus-bolus, with no regard for the livelihoods of the men and women working there.
  6. Been chavving it up at Southend cruise with my mates. Was fun! We got as far as Milton Keynes before my mate was having problems with his 200SX, one of the coil-packs went, so we had to drive back to pick some up. Then on the way there they all sped off! I was flat out trying to keep up, and didn't have a clue where they were/where I was going. Got there alright though, saw some insane Mini running a twin turbo V8. Got home a while ago, wide awake after a few cans of Relentless though!

  8. Happy birthday fatty, go get wrecked.
  9. I got some, the clear ones? They were rubbish. Wore down so fast on a crap grind, gave them plenty of time to bed it, useless.
  10. Rocks tire me out too much! Plus I pick out a line, get round to doing it, and either end up going a completely different way, or lose the rock I was supposed to be going to. All good fun though...
  11. Oh yeah, count me out on this. I don't ride much anymore, and when I last rode I was sketchy as hell, so I'm not really up for testing a frame really...
  12. Happy birthday Jon! We'll have to meet up again soon mate. Don't get too... err...
  13. Mate's van, well Bedford Rascal got tipped over tonight! We were chavving it up at Tescos, and my mate's van was parked further away from us. We're just there talking and a group of lads walked over, tried to go in the store but it was shut, then decided to tip the van on their way out! So we shot off in the cars to go look for them, got on the phone to the police telling them where they were, what they're wearing, everything. We then lost them as they shot in an alley, then we looked around all the dark spots, and saw them all chilling on a bench. We walked past to see if it was them, tell the police, they turn up and the guys all shoot again. Pretty interesting night really! The van's fine too. We just tipped it back and adjusted the mirror.
  14. Late night reppin'! Bedtime I think, start work at 8:30!
  15. I've modified my Mini, and I can't say it's a waste at all! I just think up what I think will look good, and do it. It's my car, and I don't ever plan on getting rid of it, so I'll do what I like with it. I've crashed it twice now. First time the original rusty panels caved in, and I went for a fibreglass front, now I've slid into a wooden post and broke that (still driveable though!) So I'm going to get a new fibreglass front. I'm not into bodykits, neons and all that, just subtle little things that makes the difference. Me and a group of mates usually sit at the bottom of Tescos carpark for a little social, such a chavvy thing to do, but around here there's nothing else to do! We don't dick about in the carpark, so it's alright.
  16. Use thicker tubes. I think it's Kenda that make nice thick ones. Try to land a bit softer too! Since I cut half the tread off of each side of my Maxxis, I've been getting pinches all the time, although I run stupidly low pressures, like 12psi or something...
  17. If no one posted these threads though, none of us would know what to look out for, and the manufacturers will think they've made the perfect product. And we don't want that...
  18. They're made out of aluminium though, which doesn't rust. Magura seals are plastic too, which don't corrode, and I'm pretty sure the Echo brakes have the same/similar internals as Maguras anyway...
  19. I once slid round a roundabout with some Police sat at the other side, I wasn't even going fast! Budget tyres in the wet... They just smiled!
