Before just going along with people saying "Go Stock" etc etc, See if you can find someone with a Mod, and another with a Stock, have A little go on both, and whatever feels more comfortable go for that one. But if you have already decided to go Stock, listen to Rich. By what he's saying you could get A good, cheap bike built up. And it's probably best to build your own, as it'll be for your style etc. :)

(Y) My mum just told me about something my dad did years ago, When he was around my age (15) him and his mates got hold of a CB radio and all the equipment, and started their own radio station! lasted about 4 years too! :) I'll ask him about that tomorrow...

Just been rummaging through the shed, and found my step dad's old CB Transceiver with the Mic and an aeril. (He's a lorry driver) This is what I've found: Basically is that. It has a red wire, and a black wire coming out the back, guessing for the power supply. Jimmy (stepdad) said I could run it off a 12Volt battery. But I'd rather plug it into the mains.. Thats my first question: How do I go about that? what would I need? The aeril I found in the garage isn't the longest of aeriels, but looks like it could receive A good local signal. If you haven't already guessed it's off his lorry :D . Looks like this: He told me somewhere he has the connector for the aeril to be plugged into the transceiver, but we both haven't got a clue where it could be, had a look in the box I found the transceiver, but no sign of one. Thats my second question, Where can I get one of those? If I ever mange to get this working, I'll probably end up getting a longer CB aerial etc. Also, would I need A license for this? By the way, I've tried google, but it's all links to eBay etc, and i'd rather read info about the products etc :) Cheers (Y)
