I don't go by this really... Now in a way that say.. a brilliant bike makes a brilliant rider... ...I mean it like - You can't ride trials on a tandem. Sorta thing... Anyhoo... It might be best to get some money saved up, and build up a trials bike. At a guess, the DMR will only hold you back.

My mates new Adamant A2. Not the best of spec's as of yet. Just some bits he got cheap. Spec will get better as funds increase Sorry about the poor quality. He just finished building it this evening. Spec: Frame: Adamant A2 Forks: Olllld Giant - like Pashleys... Bars: Echo Tough Bars Stem: Try-All Brakes: HS33 Front and Rear - Black pads...will be changed Front tyre: Panaracer Fire XC Pro Rear Tyre: Maxxis High Roller Super Tacky Front Wheel: Just a cheap jobby, will be changed when it breaks. Rear Wheel: Again, a cheapo one. Will be next upgrade. Hopefully Ronnie on a Hope XC. Cranks: Hardcore Pedals: DMR V8's Tensioner: DMR STS So yeah, bit ghetto at the moment, but he says it rides nice. And he's only a beginner, so he's still got to learn it all. Fair play to him really.
