  1. Have you got any designs that you could perhaps show us? Will it be like the 'old skool' style of just tubes.. Or will it have all the CNCing like all the new frames have now?
  2. The tape on the forks is a pretty good idea... But my forks are a bit scratched..and makes me look hardcore
  3. Well, On my bike... Rear - Plaz CRM's on a smooth grind. -Works really well...in the dry. Front - Tensile Bubble gum pads on a smooth grind - Also works really well. Makes a horrid noise But locks well, and still has modulation.
  4. Any internal headset. Hang on...you said it's loose..so you're buying a new one Just loosen the stem bolts, do up the top cap bolt a bit, until the forks don't wobble when you hold the front end up and shake it (sorta) And then do the stem bolts up again. Wheyyyy. Sorted.
  5. Really don't like those forks. Look really short too... What's it like?

    Monty 221pr

Is that a Monty 2.7 tyre I see? What's it like?
  7. Yes. Smooth rim Grind Such a soft compound. But yeah, immense I hear
  8. Might want to read the last 2 or so pages...
  9. Clamp what's left of the freewheel in a vice. And twat the crank arm with a rubber mallet?
  10. They wear out grinds before the actual pad wears. If you buy some, make sure you have an angle grinder, and the know-how of grinding rims. Koxx Browns + Smooth rim =
  11. On my Zona, I rin Zoo Risers with an Echo Team stem. Perfect
  12. -your name- Dan O'Shea -your location- Steeple Claydon, Buckinghamshire -your age- 15 -your opinion/ view on the subject, which you can write as much as you want about- People will always find something to moan about. If they don't like it, they'll moan. Sometimes they'll stop, have a 'friendly' chat, or have a go at you. Many people in the UK do extreme sports. And they'll always be a street scene. Whether it's Trials, BMX, Blading, Skating etc. The older generation will see it as vandalism. They have no idea what it is, and with the majority of teenagers being chavs, they see every teenager as that. A vandal. But then again, you get the odd few that are impressed by it. They can see that we're not trying to break whatever we're riding on, and if we do 'slip to bash' it's accidental. -Do people stop and watch you riding? Yes, nearly wherever me or my mates are riding. It's always mixed opinions though, wherever you are. People will either stop and watch in amazement, or they'll stop, then have a go at you. In my village, there's this 'old peoples' estate, and in their carpark, there's afew walls. My mate was tapping it, and occasionaly slipping to bash, and this old guy was walking to his house, and stoped and watched us. And like it. We stopped and had a chat with him, told him what it's called, and explained why the bikes were like that. Amazingly, he understood. He could see the logic in it all, and I guess he could tell we were learning, and this seemed a good spot to ride at. Then the other time we were there, this old woman came out and told us to go, as we were causing a disturbance or something. I couldn;t see how, but i'm not really the type who'll argue with an old person, so we just said sorry, and went somewhere else. -Do they say anything? good / bad? It's always mixed opinions, some like it, some don't. -Do you think we are 'naughty/bad' people for riding in pedestrianized like areas? No one's said anything to me yet. If i'm on the path, i'll either go onto the road to miss people coming the other way, or i'll stop and let them past. -What makes you want to ride in these areas? The Location - Nice place, friendly people. Not too crowded with people. People there - Friends there aswell, other riders to meet. Always a friendly bunch. Features - Many things that are good and fun to ride on. -Apart from all the 'telling off' you probably get.... does anybody say "wow, thats good!"? Yep, It's quite rare that people will ask questions. But when they do, we're friendly and explain everything so they'll understand. If we're rude and sarcastic, they'll think we're twats. And will have a go at us next time they see us riding. Which isn't good.
  13. Can someone post up a pic here? I'm at school and can't go on eBay
  14. So.. the wheel's tight, and when he bashes, the wheel slips in the dropouts? I guess you could try wedging something in the dropouts, weld it in or something, like you said. You can get washers with a sort of 'grip' on them too, you could perhaps out thopse on the axle, inbetween the wheel nut, and dropout. Hope I've understood you correctly, and you'll understand me correctly.

    New Cranks

I'm guessing you're using an 18t freewheel on the back... (T-Bird/T-Vee?) If you still wanna run the rear freewheel (think that's what you mean...) then you'll need a 24t(?) front screw on sprocket. Or...have loadsa fun removing your freewheel, whack that on the cranks, and put a 12t fixed cog on't back.
  16. No. Unless you've played about with the font settings in your browser?
  17. Anything under 10" Ledges, walls etc. But, under 10". And flat Gaps to bricks etc off curbs/10" walls etc are allowed too. But preferabley just a kerb and flat.
  18. We had about 30 rabbits once. They all escaped into the pub garden behind us Man that was a fun day! haha. Erm..I have a corn snake, in my room. She's mad. She bites, so I don't like handling her She seems quite happy, lots of water, fake plants, wood, heat mat, wood chip stuff. Her tank looks awesome. We also have 4 cats. One's ginger, looks innocent, but is a little shit. Another ginger one. Is old, and evil. and fat, and seriously heavy! A tabby and white one - scared of everything Another tabby one - fat and proper lazy. My sister has a hamster, that crashes everywhere in those ball things. I had 2 gerbils once, they had a fight. one died. Got another, had a fight, one died. - one that survived last time still alive. Got another one! cat got the one that killed the other 2 Gave up on getting more. The remaining one lived for like...4-5 years! Oh yeah, and our old dog. Lived to about 18! Was deaf, half blind, and walked into everything coming up to the end. But before that, he was deaf. Used to eat plantpots. And now our dog at the moment... Husky, that hates snow. I guess all our pets have been/are weird
  19. Is there any more? Or has it sorta died? I've sorted out downloading them too. Just makes life easier
