  1. Most, possibly all mod stems are 31.6mm clamp. So if you get a new stem, you'd need new bars aswell. Maybe an Echo Hifi stem? Like that Team one, just a bit lower, and Zoo bars or something?
  2. Ahh nice. Cheers. Just took a pic on my sisters cheapo camera. I'm really pleased with the finish.
  3. The deng ones (CZAR, Adamant, Echo, Zoo etc) are all for the '05 HS33 levers.
  4. The biggest you can get for that is a 2.4 Maxxis Maxdaddy. As it has a rear 20" wheel, as aposed to a 19" one. If you do get it, It'd be best to get a rear 19" wheel for it. It will fit, as i did it with my old one. Then you could get a 2.5. Oh, and ignore most of his description. He's been chatting shit. When I got mine, I payed £175 for it brand new. He 'says' he payed £375? Also, it's a trials bike. Not a trails one. It's got Magura HS33's on.Not Avid 3.0 hydraulic brakes. It's an Onza T-bird. Not a T-Bird ONZA. It's not exactly a top class and quality perfomance machine, but does the job for beginners. And the seat's not that comfy.
  5. Rear Monty tyre? 2.7 jobbie? How's that in terms of grip, and wear? Or haven't you tested yet? Looks lush.
  6. Wouldn't all sizes fit?
  7. Ok. So i've finished spraying it. And cleaned it all up, then laquered it. Do I just have to wait for the lacquer to dry? (24hrs) and that's it? Or does it need another coat of paint, then lacquer or something?
  8. What size clamp are your current bars? Mod, Stock, or 24"? - Guessing Mod... If you have 31.6 clamp (oversized) then Zoo's et will fit. If not, I think those Try-All yourself bars will? - But I hear they're not that good..?
  9. ..Becuase it's ride like shit?
  10. Right. Went into work today, and was there for aaages chosing colours. I got some Nitromors, grey primer, clear lacquer. Then for the colour; I chose a Renault Monaco Blue. Had a 'test spray' on the bash of my T-Bird and it looks soo nice. I know it'll come out a little darker, but still.. I've got most of the paint off at the moment. I think they Grey Zips are anodised, as it took Nitromors, and a scouler pad thing to get the paint off! Thanks for all the replys.
  11. I've just been stripping the paint of my grey zip, getting ready for spraying. I used a little bit or nitromors, on kitchen roll. Scrub it quite hard, and you'll make a mess on the frame. The paint shouldn't come with it. I think they're anodised....as I've had to use Nitromors and a metal scrubbing pad thing to get it off...
  12. What about laquering it aswell?
  13. I know there's a billion topics on it. But I got fed up with all the mis-spellings, and people asking for it about their own bikes. Anyway, In my search, I looked for a simple 'How to..' But had no luck, i'm sure someone made one a while ago, but i couldn't find it. Anyway, i wanna spray my Zona. I'm planning on Nitromorsing it down, then spraying it. First of all, is it like this: Strip everything off bike Nitromors frame Spray base coat Spray colour chosen Done. Or is it harder then that? Would it be just as good just to spray over my grey paint? - Or would that end up looking shit? For colours: I'm stuck. My mate suggested a dark blue, I quite like the sound of it, but I want something original, and preferabley dark. - I'm not a fan of luminous bikes. White would look nice, but I never clean my bike. For the dark blue, I was thinking like the colour of these.. Maybe even a bit darker? Could someone send me in the right direction of what car colour would match that? - One that'll be instore at work (Halfords) 'cause that's easier. I might even pop in tomorrow, and have a look, and might even start to work on it tomorrow. Depending opn the replys I get. I quite like the colour of what JoeMaher had his frame in, but that wouldm't be original now. Or that custom 24" someone made? Maybe military green? I don't want black, becuase it's too plain and boring. No 'popular' colours - red, light blue, yellow, light green etc. Has to look good with black componants too... Here's a pic of it now: I'm a 'bike-tart' aswell. So it basically must look good! I'll have a play with photoshop now. Just give me some ideas?
  14. Josh, as said look in the yellow pages. get me a price on it too.
  15. Just ride some smaller stuff, and build up your confidence. And justcommit to it. I'm having problems with that at the moment, but I/we just have to go for it. Easier said than done i'm afraid.
  16. Someone said he was dead. But he's not. Pay attention!
  17. It's like Barry Chuckle all over again.
  18. Go onto new members page. Look up a bit, and you will see a bike pics sticky.
