  1. Those cranks are 158mm in length. - Damn short! If you get new cranks, you'd need to change your gear ratio too! They have a fixed (non-removable) 24t fixed sprocket/chainring on, and I guess you have a 16t rear freewheel? I used to have that set-up back in the day. Pretty much all the cranks on Tartybikes or anywhere, are front freewheel cranks. Especially for mod bikes. You'd need to get a 12t fixed sprocket for the rear - meaning getting the freewheel off. - HARD! And then an 18t front freewheel. - Tensile? Depends on how much you have/want to spend. If not, Cleanbikes sell the cranks you have. Click Here, second one down. I'm sure they'd be able to send it to Belguim too. Just e-mail them and ask!

How's that Swamp Thing on the back? I would've thought they'd be rubish for trials.. Oh yeah, looks nice!
  3. As previously said, you'd need a new backwheel. Also some 4bolt Magura mounts. My Zip's wheelbase measures at around 1040mm I think? - Echo Easy forks. I know Mark (Onzaboymark) can tell you the actual geo of it, but I haven't got a clue. What I can tell you, is that it's a long frame, for a mod anyway, but has short chainstays. - Making it easier on the backwheel, and 'flickier' so it's easier to put it where you want it. The head-angle is quite slack, 73" maybe? - I dunno. Mine feels nice on moves going to front. Just started to learn them a while back, and it feels so comfortable on the front, and backwheel. Supercycles are useless for actual information on their products. Took a while to deliver mine too... For £199 (I think) on eBay, you can get the Zip frame, with Chris King headset. - Worth doing. Oh, and don't let the 'Onza/Zona' label put you off. 'tis a bloody strong frame. The majority of people will be like "ahh it's an Onza, it's shit" - Wrong. The only one (I know) that has snapped, was one of the first prototype frames. And i'm sure since then they changed the tubing. I've got a tiny dent in my downtube, but I did wack it on a wall! So yeah, if you feel that you want a longer mod, got for the Zona.
  4. You wimp..you didn't fall that hard. Nah, nice video. Well smooth style, as said before..you just seem to flow. Liked the pallet session in the back garden.. gap, to back, to up to spin or whatever.

There's the 'classic' skin aswell..got o home page, then at the bottom you can choose. That's darker.
  6. I use a big flat-head screwdirver, and mallet.

Ooh, if we're on about changes, one thing that annoys me, is when there's a large image uploaded, and makes me have to scroll horizontally to read posts. Any way of changing that? I quite like how the forum is now though, I didn't really like the darker skin before. The light one seems friendlier. A dark one feels all weird and too 'underground'. Hard to explain.
  8. I just rang up a local engineer, and asked how much it'll be for him to do it. He charged £20 for all the threads, and even made me some stainless steel booster spacers, as mine got all crushed. So yeah, just ask about? At least then you know they know what they're doing...and saves you screwing it up.
  9. I'll probably start the new year drunk, and hopefully without a hangover. Apart from that, I guess it'll end up the same as this year?

I like it how it is. Trials riders don't like change.
  11. Are the spokes tight? The wheel could be 'flexing' over as you pedal. Especially if it's the drive-side pad that rubs... I know you said you trued it, but are all the spokes actually tight?
  12. I got mine from Wiggle for £62.99... Free delivery - came next day.
  13. Mine does that. I've set it up so the pads are are flat as possible, so it doesn't quite rub on the rim. If it does rub, I kick the wheel. Sorts itself out.
  14. Nope. Only if you have a 19" rear wheel. Like on the T-Pro's etc.
  15. Pretty much are on Tarty'. Either front freewheel, or screw-on bash and sprocket.
  16. I was thinking of it a different way.. So the plane faces the same was as the conveyor is moving, and isn't turned on.. It wont take off if it was the like the way in the video.
  17. I have 10psi in each. Maxxis Creepy Crawlers, and 11st + bike weight on top of that.

    New Video!

Awesome video. Need more though! Nice stack at the end.
  19. Wasn't there some sort of hydraulic V brake?
  20. I saw a video, where this guy manueled down a flat esculator thing that was going upwards. He slowly crept down, then got to a point where he was in the same place, but still manueling. Was so cool!
  21. Only cost me £15. Is second hand though...
  22. No, no, no, no no. NO. The plane isn't in the same position on the conveyor. It's not moving at all, not even turned on, on the conveyor. The conveyor moves it along. Like if your were to stand still on a tread-mill. If the conveyor went fast enough with the plane still on it, the plane will take off?
  23. Yeah. At a guess, the other rotor will work slightly better, as it will cool down quicker because of the more holes in it. I have a hop Gothic rotor, and it's 165mm, but damn sharp. Feels like my mates 180mm on his stock. Looks like this: [attachmentid=8249] As I said before, I think it feels sharper because there is less metal that the pads hit, so it will cool down alot quicker. Something like that anyway. I'm sure someone else could explain it better.
  24. 160mm. -Avid BB7. [attachmentid=8247]
