  1. Same as every year... Live to next year!
  2. It basically keeps out the potential spammers, and 'bots we sometimes get on here. The rules are easy to follow, all you really have to do is type things out properly so everyone can understand you. - We get a lot of people on here from all over the UK, so properly written english helps them understand what we're on about! Glad to see someone new sees the good side to the system.
  3. Could make one out of some steel forks, weld a nut to the legs in-line with the rim, and have a bolt going through the tru it up to...

CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG!?
  5. I've got a Neon one now, nice and light, low stack height, fairly cheap. Can't go wrong!
  6. Onlookers were shocked at what they'd just seen...

I suppose you guys have got the mixture dialled too, having too much of something could make all the difference i'm guessing?
  8. Ha, and now the get a bit of it back with a chocolate inside.
  9. Got a picture of it? Usual first upgrades for most Onza bikes are the bars and stem, and the forks. Get's the front end a lot lighter making it easier to keep on the back wheel.
  10. Jap's seem to love anything made in Britain though! - For some reason. There's a pretty big Mini scene in Japan, with all sorts of crazy mod's and parts available. They love it! A guy (I think from Japan) commented in my Bike Pictures thread, saying how he loved my dual Hope Tech's, and said he'd be lucky to find something like that in a local shop for him.
  11. Good read that! Nice to see actual relative questions, not just 'what's your favourite curry?' and crap like that.

Looks good that! Might be worth having some sort of disclaimer saying it might void warranties on brakes (Dengura's especially) and you can't be held responsible for it?
  13. Quick tip: Cover them in Nitromors, and ten pour boiling water on them. Strips the paint off quicker, and it goes all bubbly and froffy.
  14. Oh man. I went from a rear Profile, to a FFW setup. The freewheel majorly munched on my jeans, and I was actually stuck! This was in a busy part of Coventry, next to a bus stop, with people everywhere! In the end we had to loosen my wheel, pedal forward (munching my jeans more!) so I could get my leg inbetween the crank/frame, and then pedal backwards so I was free! Sucked. Still like my FFW though, made my bike lighter.
  15. I'm sure everyone looks back and reflects on things, I sure do! Don't dwell on it though, use it as a way to look at what you have now, and make the most out of it.
  16. Shorts and t-shirt!? You lads are a fair bit tougher than us lot round my way. We're busting about in 4 t-shirts, two layers of trousers, 2 pairs of socks, jumper, hoody, jacket! I had my hood up, and helmet on top the other night!
  17. Yeah, post times have been a bit varied recently due to everyone sliding and bumping into eachother on the roads! You do have to be fairly patient with Steve at the best of times, but he's not one to rip you off, so don't worry about that.
  18. I'd say keep the camera steady - Wobbly shots are so irritating! Don't have it all fixed to a tripod though, look at Danny Mac's April '09. When he's riding along the spikey rail, it's filmed as if you're stood there watching for real, makes it seem more real? Don't do slo-mo, or black and white.
  19. Tensile bars!? No idea they exist! Looks nice, really nice frames them.
  20. Should've seen my old set up then! Was lovely.
  21. Get clamps that don't use the plastic washers, they clamp straight onto the cylinders. If your mounts are welded on square, the brake will be spot on. - If not you'll have to let the pads wear into it a bit. You can grind down standard Magura clamps to do this too.
  22. Be alright, good bolt for a TPA bodge on an '04 Magura that is!
