  1. I just use a standard Clarks cable I 'aquired' from work. Then I have some old, wobbly Avid SD3 lever, and it's fine. Anyone else will say Odyssey Linear slic cable, with a Shimano XTR lever. Cables come in a long length, so you can cut it down, and have spares. Have a look on eBay for the XTR lever.
  2. Wrap a few links of olc chain around it, clamp it in a vice, and give it some beans! By that, I mean try to turn the wheel as hard as you can, without ripping the spokes off.
  3. I have some Guesset ones on my Zip. They do the job, although the 'plates' have gotten bent from the silly shape of the CNC'd dropouts. But yeah, s'alright I guess.
  4. Should be alright without one though?
  5. Mine just goes in the garage. Living in a small village, where nothing gets stolen - well, no break-ins or anything... it's safe. Even though it's been stolen before..but out a bus..
  6. My BB7 with 165 Gothic rotor has bite, and modulation. - Just how I like it. Yeah, get a BB7, for stock - 180mm if you still want modulation, or 203mm if you want lots of lock, with a hint of modulation.
  7. Me and my mate will be there to watch. With my camera too.
  8. The one I've had a go on felt heavy, short, and dead to ride. That's just my opinion though..
  9. At a guess, it can't be deleted because it's in use? Ctrl+Alt+delete - Processes The scan down the list, and end what ever seems dodgy. Then try and delete the file as you would any other file.
  10. I used to have a front HS33, with Koxx Browns. It didn't have the lock I wanted, even with a grind. I changed to a 160mm Avid BB7, and it was brilliant front the start! Had modulation, but still locked up when I wanted to. Recently changed to a 165mm Hope Gothic rotor, and it's even better now! - More lock. The whole bike vibrates when I slow down using the Avid though...

    Baby Names

After Mr. Wright. Bet that put you off the name Pete.
  12. I have Zoo! Bars on my mod, seems fine. 27" ones I think. - Pretty sure they've changed recently?
  13. Sure you won't have another gf then?
  14. End of him riding mod. He's got an 07 Control now. As seen here - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=86333 EDIT: I think so anyway...
  15. If it was this month, he'd be on his Control.
  16. It depends on who sponsors you, and the actual sponsorship deal.
  17. I was gunna post this too. Mum watched it, said it was in Exeter?
  18. You can't leave it at that though..tell the 'Agony Aunts' of the forum!
  19. Keep the rim smooth if you're getting Echo Pinks, as they have a really soft compound. On a grind, they would last 10mins.

    Kooxboox

Shiney Ashton. I know it's completely different to an Ashton...
  21. What pads have you got? Some pads are made for smooth rims - Zoo pads, Echo pinks? Whereas others work well on grinds - Koxx browns+blues, Rock pads, Plaz CRMs..
  22. Everyone who went on the DJ Memorial ride in Abingdon this year.
  23. He doesn't look right on 26". Notice the amount of taps in that video aswell?
