I had some Nike 6.0 mid-tops before, and they were really good! - Comfy, slight ankle support, grippy. Now have some £30 Duffs mid-tops, and they're just as good. Just took longer for the soles to soften up a bit.

Already started where I am. Had rain last night, and temperature has risen a fair bit! Big puddles everywhere! The Mini doesn't enjoy the damp too much...

Been alright, had it's ups and downs, but that's life. I'm not one for saying '2011 will be an amazing year!' because I don't know that for sure. I just take things as they come, best way to be!

After listening to Mark before, I bought a pair of Hope Mono Trial Tech's, and never looked back! They're spot on.

I've done this before. Although it turned out that the bolt I was using as a bleed bolt was slightly too long, so it was sealing up properly! So I filed it down a bit, put a small washer on there, and it was spot on!

I had a 203mm BB7 on my mod for a while, was overkill! I got given the rotor and adapter, and it was better than my 160 by far! I'm now running 160mm Hope Mono Trials front and rear, and they're spot on! It's personal preference really. I found the 203mm BB7 to be way too grabby, had to really be soft with the lever to get any modulation. The power of my Hopes makes up for the small rotors. - It's not the size of your tool, it's the power you put into it.

You use 2 M6 bleed bolts. Then one side to the splitter has a barbed fitting, and the other side has the shroud nut with an olive.

Ok, so forget that. Decided to go and see her today, when she was sober. We went for a walk, and talked about everything. Properly let me sort my head out, and work out where I was at with it all. Long story short, it all went well, and we ended up back together again. We ended up back at hers and just sat and chilled, and it was good! Sorted.

The only time I can think you'd need to remove your freewheel is when you replace the cranks, due to thread stripping on the pedals or something. Even then, the crank arm is useless and you can just cut it apart to get the freewheel! It's a good idea, but it's not really needed.

Ours sits in the corner of the back garden storing a load of junk we probably don't need. I'll get pictures up soon!

This gave me an idea... We've had many laughs throught this year on Trials-Forum, but what thread do you think has given the best laughs? Ex text me last night when everyone was out last night saying she wanted me back, cos she'd been talking to her friends out when we first got together. f**k that! You could save a bit of room by loosening the stems and turning the bars 90degrees, then you could push all the bikes together so they're nice and 'flat-packed' ...thought I'd make this thread slightly relevant again?
