  1. That's a really old Ben Slinger prototype. Onzaboymark had it at one point, might still have it? Apparently it's all changed now, and they've scrapped the 'dropped chainstay' idea, as there wasn't enough clearance for natural... or something.
  2. Nice selling technique there. Ermm..I'd say around £120ish? Not a lot, as people would be looking for something better to seriously start out on...
  3. hehe..I didn't mind. Turns out I suck at this..
  4. Do whatever feels most confortable. I'm left foot forward, and sidehop to the left, even know the majority of left footers sidehop to the right.
  5. I wouldn't buy it, because I don't think it looks good. It's too messy, if that makes sense to you? I just like the simplicity of their current T-Shirts...No logo's and pictures etc all over the shop...
  6. That was fecking awesome! When those rednecks turned up..hahah I thought they'd shoot them!
  7. My mate has the A2 (normal one) with a Try-All stem. Pretty much like my mod stem, and that feels nice. Give Tarty' a ring, and ask them. - They're not open now though...
  8. I know, I know! It's in Wales. Looks mint, you little gay. I wanna ride there.
  9. ...but if the adaptor is attached at the dropout too, then wouldn't the force go straight to there? Meh, i'm useless with all this sorta stuff.
  10. That wont work without some more bodging, as that's for vertical dropouts, and i'm guessing it's a Zona Zip, so it'll have horizontal dropouts. There's a few people on here that have made some adaptors, that go from to bottom of the braker mount, down to the dropouts. I think it was Wally on here, did it to his Python, and someone else has done it on their GU.

    Help

Ok..I've taped up the wires, got the screwdriver, key, tape, torchw/batteries.. rear seat feels loose, and the 'trunk' button does nothing. What now?
  12. Yeah, it also had some little kid with long hair, looking all skater-y, labelled as a chav?!
  13. There's some currently living on a grassy corner on the way to work. Bastards...that corner will never be the same. Also my bike got nicked out the boot of a Coach, was well shit. I did some detective work, and found it on eBay, contacted the seller asking to arrange to go look at it. - This got me his name, address, contact number, which was given the the police to add to the report, and then when I went to look at it I had mr polic officer with me, and got it back. But then they kept it for about a month, then I finally got it back. I have no idea who stole it, as the bloke bought it from CashConvertors, he worked there, still had his work shirt on etc.. ...But whoever stole it is a pikey.
  14. Maybe why it's skipping? Ash, you broke all the Try-All freewheels, they're all too scared to work properly because of fear of being Ash-Licked. You b*****d.
  15. I had this problem. With an extra link in the chain, the wheel was literally at the end of the dropouts, and brake set-up difficult. Then with that extra link taken out, the wheel was too far in, making my tyre rub on my booster, which I was not willing to remove. Just put a half link on there, I got my KMC one from AlansBMX, was only like £1.50 or something..so it's not breaking the bank.
  16. Nope. You need a V brake booster. Like this - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=13
  17. Use mineral oil in it. We had to bleed one of these for a customer at work, took ages to actually figure out how to bleed it, as we're all used to Hopes and Hayes. It even says on the reservoir cap that you must use mineral oil only. - As said, water will fook up, and DOT will fook it up. We didn't have the right equipment for bleeding it, as it has syringes with special needles and stuff? But we just gravity fed the oil through, meaning we took off the bleed bolt, and simply kept pouring oil through, then put the bleed bolt back on, topped it up, and put back on the reservoir cap. Worked perfectly, but made a right oily mess.
  18. Oxfords good if you know your way about/have a local with you. Most of the spots are sorta hidden, so you need to know where to look for the spots. Also a lot of hobo's about, usually asking for sex or money.. which is nice. Milton Keynes is good on a dry day - all marble ledges. Slippy slippy. If you have someone that knows where to go, then you'll have a good ride. Nice sized ledges and lines etc.
