  1. DMR pedals are alright, i've had V8's for ages.. had VP's, cages snapped, threads stripped, cracked etc. I've been looking at other pedals, like the V8's, but they all look slippy. - Have a really flat platform, and less pins that V8's, and they're smalelr pins. I prefer having bigger pins for grip, I don't like having my feet slipping about.
  2. Kick the pedals a little...obviously with the brake off... Do a few little hops too..just to get used to staying on the backwheel.
  3. I still have blue rim tape...and pads. Hush.

    A Workshop

Bike stand would be ideal. - Whenever i've taken my bike into work to work on it, I have it in the stand, and it's soo much easier than trying to hold it up, or have it on it's side etc. You could try and make one, the actualy clamp wouldn't be that hard to make. Try and have a look at one in Halfords for an idea of how they work. - Guessing everystore will have the same stand? I got a wooden board, and wacked a load of screws in it to hold tools up. Spanners, screwdrivers etc. Makes it a lot easier to get them instead of rumaging through toolboxes. Also get a vice fixed to a workbench, just for bodging, etc. You will need one at one point. Make like, a rack or space for what I call 'Servicing needs' or whatever..basically GT85/WD40, Synthetic oil, grease etc. Oh yeah, and somewhere for powertools would be handy, drills, angle grinders etc. I don't actually have all of this at home, but I plan to in the future...at some point.
  5. I f**ked up my GCSE's. Didn't do any of the coursework. Never done homework on a regular basis, from the start of my schooling days, so I just got used to not doing it? - Thought i'd much rather go out then stay a home doing schoolwork. Didn't get any C's or above..which is mental gay. But atm I'm doing a BTEC Business diploma, and key skills, which is okay. - I get around 5-7 GCSE equivalents at the end of it, and I don't think i'm doing that bad in them... Have no idea what I actually want to do though, interested in photography, but I doubt i'd get anywhere with it. Can't afford some really decent kit, etc. Umm...yeah..i have no idea, basically.
  6. Hub/Freewheel skipping, chain slipping? - Mech/tensioner not set-up properly? Bottom bracket could be loose, maybe the cranks are creaking? - Oil the tapers.
  7. Had a quickish ride with 2 other peoples. Basically rode on a bench for a while: Rich. Iain. Rich. Front to backs. Me. Wheelswap. Rich. Bunnyhop off the edge of the bench... Me. Sidehop.
  8. Halfords grips are too thin for me. Ended up stabbing my palms with my fingertips...I have big hands. Got some Velo foam grips from work (Halfords) for like £2 something? Nice and thick, not really squishy, and are just nice. They had some like, cotton-like extra foam stuff on them? but I just took them off.
  9. Questions need question marks. How hard is it? OnTopic: Grind or smooth rim?
  10. We used to just stick candles in our old bottles.
  11. 6ft. Don't see the point in going bigger?
  12. Nitromors, and a bit of sand paper, then polished it. You bigger gayer. Hope Gothic, and yes. It's awesome.
  13. That'd work for a front brake..not the back though...
  14. ajWS8gCJOac Best. Part. Ever.
  15. Just save up, and buy a proper trials bike?
  16. Crawlers every time. Awesome grip, wear life isn't too bad, and they're cheap.
  17. Has the bottom part of your dropout snapped off? Looks nice though.
  18. aaahahaha..What do they do? Threaten to take your bike apart?
