  1. Haha damn, I'm not special then! Never seen it happen before!
  2. They're old Echo Easy forks. - Before they changed the name to Lite! I think they're from around 2005/6. I've had them since new. Done me well!
  3. Was out riding today. Wanted to do a little gap, to up to front. As I landed the gap, BOOM! Bike goes tumbling down, and I'm stood there with the bars in my hands like Anyway, where they snapped is in an odd place! Right where the stem clamps on. They didn't creak or anything before, so I wasn't expecting it at all! By the looks of the metal, they'd been cracked there for quite some time, which is still weird to me! It's not important, but I'm just curious. - Anyone snapped their forks here before?

    Dan O'Shea. Summer09 Edit.

Nothing exciting/mind blowing, just me riding on a fallen down tree in my village.
  5. I slept on his sister's bedroom floor once.
  6. Tomturd's still playing around with the gallery as far as I know, should all be fixed soon.
  7. Mine did this. Took it to the Apple store to see a 'Genius' and he blagged it. Said that the transmitter (or something) had broke, because I'd clearly dropped it, due to there being a scratch on the corner. Long story short, he asked me for £140 to replace it, and I walked off.
  8. Looking good Grant! Definately going to have a quick play one evening soon. Atleast yours isn't cracked like Tris'!
  9. Good plan, which should've been done in the first place. Don't forget to check/clean the crank splines and BB axle too. I never bother to grease them, as dirt just sticks to the grease and you go back to square one!
  10. Bottom brackets don't have to bed in. Did you clean up the threads in the BB shell before fitting? Are the crank tapers/splines clean? - Usualy trapped dirt inbetween the crank and BB can cause nasty noises.
  11. 91/16,714 - Not looking good Mark.
  12. 8. Gimme some rep for my awesome new topic?
  13. Get some peanut butter in there too, and you've got a winner! Choco' spread *** is a good one too.
  14. We haven't talked about food in a while, perfect reason to get a thread going! Just polishing off some cheese in beans, with bread. Feel free to share other snack ideas. - Perfect for the students amongst us. What are you eating?
  15. I run dual disc on my Neon, and sidehop to the left, and I'm yet to hit my rear disc yet! The fat tyre pushes the bike out the way on walls etc, so by the looks of things it'll be pretty hard for me to hit it. - I think. Just man up and run dual disc.
  16. CNC'd chess pieces are a good shout! Quite like the idea to be honest. There's bound to be a market for them somewhere. Dice would also be an easy one to make, and could look pretty swanky.
  17. Do it oldskool and pour a fizzy drink on the rim then. Used to do that with my Magura when my rim's sidewalls were too thin to grind anymore...
  18. Pour water on the rim/pads. Ride around dragging the brake. Repeat. Pads probably need to bed in again. Just give them time! I used to do this with mine, then leave pour water on one last time, leave it in the sun to dry (good luck with that...) and then it'd be amazing again!
  19. Tech Trials for sure! I'm constantly fiddling about with mine, changing the reach and pull. They're amazing though!

    Headset

I've got the Neon Bow headset. Nice low stack height, smooth bearings. Been alright so far! Cheap too.
  21. You mean like the Inspireds? Also Marinos, Leesons...?
  22. I think you guys need to chill a bit. Don't forget that he makes frames for all sorts of riders, from all over the place! By the looks of his Facebook updates he's got himself a pretty big name. Remember that they're all hand-made, not produced on a massive machine that can throw a batch out in a few hours... I can understand that it doesn't take much to send an email or two, but that'll mean he's taking his time away from actually building everyone's frames!
  23. The headset's on upside down?

    Chain...

Also known as the KMC Kool Lite. Which isn't good if you snap a lot of chains...
