Ok, FFAF have uploaded their new album onto their MySpace, not available yet, but I want it. I don't have a microphone on my PC, and wouldn't want to record it that way anyway.. Is there a way I can record what's coming through my speakers? - Hard to explain..I know it's possible. I want a clear recording, like, exactly how it sounds on their myspace. This will be for my ears only, I will not sell, or copy it.

Built into the caliper. When the cable is pulled, the part of the caliper that turns to move the pads in runs on ball bearings, for a much smoother feel. Most other cable disk brake calipers just has plastic on metal/plastic rubbing together. Which feels shite. Something like that anyway.

Ahh, The flanges are the same size, but on one the holes are slightly lower down. I remember from when my mate built his onto a DX32 rim, needed slightly different length spokes...

Is it really necessary?

I swear the flanges on the Pro II are different sizes...

I just use normal Halfords 20" tubes. Fit fine, just have to pump it more so it expands out in the big tyre..

Mine have been well good. But the rim has to be perfectly clean for them to bite properly, slight bit of dust on them, and they're wank. The wobble a fair bit too.

You going to make any prototype genius inbreds? or are you certain that they will work? Seems a good idea, some will have more fingers, some might have two brains, two heads, lots of arms. Be reet.

Get some mineral oil. - Halfords stuff will do, pretty much the same as 'Magura Royal Blood' without the fancy label. Fill the syringe up with it, with the bleeding hose attached to it (barbed end in one side, syringe on the other) and attach that to the bleeding cylinder. -Obviously take the 5mm bolt out first. Once you've done that, get your 3mm(?) allen key, and take out the bleed bolt in the lever. Unwind the TPA! Then just pump the oil through, until you're happy that there's no air in there. Then slowly pump it, and put the bleed bolt back in. Then undo the syringe from the cylinder, and drip a bit of oil ontop. - Don't worry, with the bleed bolt done up in thr lever, it'll cause a vacuum, so all the oil will be held in, and no air can get in there. Drip a bit of oil on the cylinder hole, and do the bolt back up. You should be sorted.

Differen't gear ration - slightly more/less engagements? Again though, could depend on the hubs, one could've been more bedded in than the others, so it was louder?

offtopic ***. Aaanyhow.. Cut the hose down to the right length, get the new olive, get the fitting that goes over the olive and put that on first. Then get the new olive, and slide it on. Then simply do the fitting up in the lever/cylinder. - This will squish the olive into place, and clamp it onto the hose. If it's got the barbed fittings, like on the crossover, then watch PaRtZ's video. nb: Not sure if that video shows olive fitting's too..i only watched the crossover bit... Edit: Ok, so it does tell you the olive part, but at least I didn't say 'orly?'

Could just be the hub they have/saw. Some hubs are louder than others, even if they're the same make and model. Depends on how they've been ridden, harshly/smoothly. XC/trials..etc. At a guess, the '06 would've been bedded in, so all the grease it would've had when it was brand new would've worn in, and the '07 would still have it all in, so it'd be much quieter. I'm pretty sure they have the same internals, no reason why they shouldn't? Onlt difference is the '07 hub shells are thicker/stronger.
