Submerged bleed: Brake underwater, bleed bolts out. Block one hole, and pump the lever, keeping the blade down. Then unblock hole A and then block hole B. Then release the lever, and unblock hole B and block hole A. Repeat. That's how I used to do it.. just wacking it underwater with no bleed bolts and pumping never worked for me?

Avid ultimate, Shimano XTR lever, Plaz CRVs, and a Slic cable.. Vees are way easier! Set up on the lowest spring tension they feel nicer than Maguras (IMO) and you can get spares from any bike shop, because it's just cables and bolts... Not oil and hosing.

I've always taken things apart, even when I was little. If something breaks, I'll try and tinker about with it too see if I can fix it... Usually I get it apart and have no idea how it works. Sometimes I like fiddling about with my bike, but then when something just doesn't wanna work I get pissed off and leave it. It's all working nicely now..so I daren't touch it.

Take the lockring off, clean all the grease out, then lightly oil it. Simple.

Get an Avid then? SD7 would be fine...

I don't have a booster on my Vee, and it's solid!

Onza tried that, wasn't so great from what I heard? Would cost a lot more in machining too...
