The CNC Vee backings are narrower (I think?) than Magura ones, and longer, and slightly curved. I can get a picture sometime soon (Bike's not here atm) and could measure them too if you like.
Any chance of you having just the pad material for the cnc vee backings? Like what the Plaz CRVs come in? Would be interested, as my Plaz are getting very worn out!
I'm not really into going big now. I'm always looking for new lines everywhere I go. I can sidehop and gap etc, just not that far. But meh, I enjoy sessioning smaller stuff. Like the other day I went down this road just out of the village, and road on these small concree blocks for ages... They were all in a line so it was kinda hard to do gaps etc, but it was still fun. Just shows that trials is way more than just getting up big walls in silly ways...
To be fair, it's a trials hub, and a disk hub, so as a rider you'd expect it to be able to stand front wheel moves, and not do that? Good effort anyway! I'd go for a Hope hub next if I were you, XC will be fine.
I bet he couls shed loadsa weight off that... Think he actually designed it so it'd stop flex (like Heatsink designs etc..) or just designed some stupidly thick booster..?
I snapped one of those BB axles, so it's likely that you've maybe done the same? or wrecked the bearings or something... Does it still feel smooth? Doesn't make weird noises, creaks, squeeks, etc?
