  1. They still sell those at the Co-Op in my village. Only like.. 20p too!
  2. You don't have to go and start a new account, that's more annoying for the admins than this topic will be. Either Tom or Danny (admins) wrote out all those rules for you to read when you start up, and like everyone does, I guess you didn't. But give them a read now so you can see how this forum works. It's a bit different to most other ones around on the internetz. Lazy Link!
  3. Have to agree with Danny i'm afraid Muel. You failz Trialz-Forumz.
  4. Haha, yeaahh. Being crap at stuff is the best! Seriously.. I loved learning how to do the basics. Anyway, yeah. Enjoy your pads.
  5. I was a bit confused when I first got my Magura. Was like 'no way does it just clip on!? ' So simple it's complicated!
  6. Nice video! Qute liked that. What do you get for the Trialfutur sponsorship?
  7. Kinda looks like my Zona, but less shiney. Nice one Danny, I like that.
  8. You could probably save a load of weight withough that beefy 2.7 on the back! Looks lush Adam. I hate you because you can just pick parts off the shelf and not get told off for it.
  9. We were gunna do this when I worked in Halfords, but then we realised that people barely spend the extra money on the Apollo 'S' models, so no way will they spend around a grand on a shiney new Koxx bike. I had my bike in the repair stand once, and a lot of people were asking about it, so I guess there is an interest.. People go to Halfords for cheap bikes, for a bit of commuting, or a kids bike that'll just get trashed, not specialist stuff... Just face it, Halfords sucks.
  10. I've been doing big drops recently. Done around 7ft (to grass) and netween 6/7ft to concrete. They're fun, and my bike's fine. In the video though, he was a bit all over the place on the backwheel... I've done 3 pallets less than that.
  11. Body of a teen, face of an adult.
  12. Ah crap.. haha. I got confused, with Billocks talking about his Ko, and your bike looking like one... But anyway, long mods are nice.
  13. YOU had a Ko! Forgot your last name...
  14. Is there really a chance that the old guy will survive? Beau, have you spoken/heard anything of the old guy? What a way to go anyway...
  15. We'd get way less members (new members included) if they got suspended for missing out a few letters. Fair enough it's annoying, but that's a little over the top? I've heard people on rides saying how they don't bother with T-F because the NMC is shite. I think it'd be good to have everyone a full member when they sign up (Except for the forsale/wanted?) then if they spell really badly etc, then we can report them and they go to NMC until they sort it out? Could work...
  16. I'd probably just sort the bike out and leave it. Bound to be other riding spots then near the psycho wardrobe.
  17. Long mods are lush to ride. I have a Zona Zip, so the geo is different, but it's so nice for sidehops! And as i'm around 6ft tall it's nicer to ride. I had a go on a long Ko in Newquay. Set-up wasn't too great, but it was nice to ride!
  18. True. I borrowed one ( ) out of my freinds spare links, and then it snapped a while later. My chain's been snapping a lot recently.. it's pretty old, and made up of around 3 different KMC Kool's and some half links... Might replace it soon.
  19. Cracked a T-pro frame.. that's the worst one. Snapped a bashplate, some VP pedals, Profile hub bearings, cracked and dented rims, snapped an FSA Platinum Pro BB... The rest is just stripping threads etc.
  20. Yeah, well I wanted to explain it...and just kinda rambled. I'm done with this thread now.
  21. Likewise. Oh look, the thread's (kinda) about driving, and someone mentioned the driving tests, so I talked about my experiance, then related it to the fact that there are bad drivers out there, and mistakes do happen. Just this one just sounds like pretty careless driving... EDIT: Just wanna add, since when do topics on T-F actually keep to the subject? Muel started going on about people being fine after 20mph crashes etc...
  22. From my experiance, they have. I've taken 3 tests so far, and failed all of them. I know i'm not a bad driver (as far as learners go..) I just made simple mistakes, that the examiners over-exaggerated, so I failed. First one I was waiting to cross a D/C, and she claimed that the car was "rolling into the road" when I was waiting for one car to pass, then go. Second one I forgot to check my blindspots a few times before pulling away etc, and I got 4 minors on that so it's a major. Then the third I was waiting in a queue of traffic on a small roundabout, and as traffic started moving, I was slowly rolling waiting for the car behind me (behind to the left) to go so I could fit through and go after. But she slams on the brakes because she thought I was going to go and cut it up. - Only got 3 fauls for the whole test... So basically, there are a lot of bad drivers on the roads, and mainly around my age (17). I think that DSA have gotten a bit tighter on who passes etc because of this. I'm not saying Beau's a bad driver, although from hearing about thias incident, wether it's 100% or not, it did sound like some pretty careless driving. You don't really need to use the accelorator to reverse, even my Mini's clutch can pull it up hills etc in reverse, so i'm sure any car can! Anyway, unlucky Beau, it's a hard lesson to learn.
  23. That's cos you sucked. Nah i'm joking, i'll edit when I've watched it...
  24. Both new parts? If not, did you clean up the threads before you put it all on? Try just scraping around the threads with a cloth soaked in WD40 or something, then give it a dab of grease and try again. Sometimes new threads can be stiff to go on, especially on cranks as they're still painted. It'll go on easier where you've already threaded it on. I'm sure after a Good clean, and a flush fit it'll be fine, but if you see metal again.. STOP!
