  1. They're pretty grippy, but i've had some for a while, and some of the pins can rip out of the pedal body, thus ruining any chance of replacing them. Saying that they are realy nice to ride with. Chris (Y)
  2. nope riding again now, not very well though, hurts to drop off things, had my cast off for about a week. Come riding sometime joe. (Y) Chris
  3. Hmm well i guess that just makes it more fun :)
  4. I'm pretty sure thats not legal.
  5. Excellent vid, wish i had started riding trials when i was your age, keep up the good work. :) Just one thing though, your site as advertised at the start of the vid doesn't seem to exist?!?!?! Chris
  6. It could be done though, the monocoupe needs to be straighter (more direct line from the headtube and rear dropouts) and more kite shaped (taller where the seat tube should be) if that makes any sense. Monocoupes have been proved to be more rigid than a standard tubing setup, more and more DH bikes use monocoupe frames now.
  7. It has been proved that you can kill yourself from falling over on a pavement while walking, unlikely this may be, but it is possible. So imagine how much more likely it is to die if you add more speed and a fall from hight. Again I don't want to appear to be lecturing people but you would be a fool not to wear a helmet on a bike. If you ride regularly witthout a helmet it could only be a matter of time before you seriously injour yourself. Four days ago, at the weekend, a friend of mine (who usually wears a helmet) wen't out for a ride, nothing serious just messing arround, at my local skate park. He nailed his head pretty bad there, knocked himself out for 5mins. He's recovering now, but still can't walk. But theres a lesson to be learned there, allways wear a helmet even if your just messing arround, my friend learnt the hard way, and its definately not the best way to learn. Sorry to go on about it but I think its important Chris ^^^read above post, some good stats there^^^
  8. I don't want to urinate on anyones plans to come by train, but i've noticed that there are some majour rail works going on during the bankholiday weekend. I'm not too sure how difficult this will make getting to stamford, but if you were thinking of coming by train then i would advise finding another method. Chris (intouch with everything) (Y)
  9. I think sunday will be the best day (Y) because then i can work on monday for double pay (Y) Chris (allways the bright one) :P
  10. I'll come along so long as its not on a saturday. Chris (Y)
  11. I know that the shadow conspiricy chain is excellent for bmx, but i'm not too sure how it will proform on a trials bike. It will definately fit since its entirely halflinks, some have mentioned problems with strech. A friend of mine has used the chain on his bmx and it hasn't streched enough to ruin the chain tension (hasn't tightened the chain tugs since he got it). I say go for the SC chain, its made for bmx so theres not much to go wrong with it. Does this help? Chris :-
