hey everyone i recentley broke my black mumba (04 zoo pitbull replica) mech hanger ... i know its my own fault... ... does anyone know if a mission reefer mech hanger would fit as my mate has one spare and reckons it does... spose there was no harm in asking and its worth a try but i was just wondering if it did... oh and if not im going to have to buy one, so where can i buy one from? ... if not im gonna try and make one out of... stuff

if your looking for the same quality as a king/same engagement points as a king... i wouldn't go for a cheap copy, but would strongly recomend a rear dmr singlespeed hub with a green eno trials freewheel. this way you get two high quality (almost the same quality as a king in my opinion) components for much cheaper. my mate runs this set up, and another mate of mine has a rear king... not much difference really as neither skip and both look the buisness anyways hopefully this helps... dont waste your money, i know what i would spend my £100 on

just had a go at making a vid of todays riding... it's first go at editing a vid and this is the first vid i've put on tf... theres nothing to fancy, just the 3 of us riding around Leicester, edited by me riding experience varies, Gears - Silver base bin riding 7 months, Jonny - Black mumba bin riding a year, but still getting used to the new bike... its so long , Snowy - Black base bin riding 1 year 2 months Music by Nirvana - come as you are 51 seconds - 13 mb... enjoy Linkage the vids called todays ride 2 any comments on editing and also the riding for time ridden is welcome

try ebay there some from time to time on there, go for the green one though also post in the for sale/wanted section and ur bound to get a few people splitting there bikes with them... or someone who knows of somewhere cheap u can get them.

personally... (although the eno is far superior and seems like the best bet because it more expensive and has more engagements) i would go for the acs first... u shouldnt just buy it because it has more engagements. You will find yourself relying on the engagements rather than ur technique. Its worth perfecting ur technique first and then upgrading... i dont know if i make sense? but this is my opinion, i dont want people taking the mick because theres no comparrson between the 2 in quality, just think about what im saying? because i went from 16 to 36 engagements points and found my gapping improved, but i was already acheiving 6-7 ft gaps on 16 engagements... so its about the technique more than engagements, cant wait till i get me eno now that i feel that i have my tehcnique sorted also it does take a while to get used to the extra engagements....

how can u call a base heavy? u might find by just changing a stem to something with more rise/length gives u more leverage making the bike feel lighter, this is much cheaper than buying a whole new bike.
-
i see... so u reckon i should just buy the one for 70? its brand new and so on...well thanks for the help anyways
-
hey everyone... im wanting to now upgrade the front freeweel on me black mumba, eno seems to be the best option... well until the tensile one, but i dont know when that will be out... i can get one for 70 posted brand new but thought i would post to see if anyone knew where else i could get one for cheaper... also does anyone know when the tensile one with 60 eps for £30 will be out? and whats the difference between the green freewheel and the other coloured enos... eg red and blue??? thanks in advance
-
hey mate, i think u should go for something more serious at first... but then its whatever suits ur riding style more. maybe have the funny music at the end to show all of ur bails/stacks...? who cares what anyone thinks, cant wait for the vid dude
-

im guessing its a viz headset... yeah i think the other dude was right about the order i put them in and also the way the bearings wher facing thanks alot dudes im gonna ride it now woohoo
-
ok well my new bike arrived this morning... all was ok... but the headset... i would of thought that there would have bin bearings for the headset included but there wasnt, so i had buy some. i taken all the lil bits he had provided and my new bearings... but then realised i didnt have a clue how to put ir together i had a go it but everytime i tried it just didnt seem right (it is whater u call it... im sure u will know what im talking about....) each time i tightened the top cap it seemed to tight... even when tightened the tinyest amount and made a grinding noise when i turned the bars... or when it seemed tight enough... well tight enough not to make the gay grinding noise also when it seemed fine the stem/headset was started moving ok i dont know what im talking about... iv bin tryna fix it for about 2 hours now and i think its about time i asked for help so if anyone knows what im on about, or if u have any step by step information as to how to put on a headset then please help me... btw the headset is in the frame... its just the ?internals? what look to me incorrect....
-
hey mate... i had an 04 but then snapped it in 4 months ... but the 05 bikes have been improved alot and are menta be nice to ride... so if the 06's are similar to the 05s then it should be a good bike... if u get me kinda thing well ermm goodluck
