i know what you meen mate, is it wise to buy one with everything already fitted? or something without it as less damage has been done to the engine and theres less chance of it being ragged? i dont know? does it do too much damage to the engine... im adding you... this is a 2 man thread edit: nrgs are quite beasty stealthy black

thats quite good! my brother has a kymco zx50, crap name and not very well know, but without any upgrades and only a derestriction + with a 14stone heavy lad, its quicker off the line than both a gilera ice and also a geared sr50 now thats shocking... i have to get something quicker though... we are brothers... we have to compete

yeah i know it sounds abit chavvy, and i know theres already a motorbike thread, but im looking at bikes for when i turn 16... so i was wondering if anyone has had a 50cc bike/moped? what would you advise? im looking either a pegeuot speedfight, yahama aerox or an mbk nitro. i know it sounds lame/childish/immature but i want something quicker than any other 50cc and something that has upgrades available, iv heard the speedfights are quick but i havent had any experience with them... so post away, lets see what you've got/had cheers Jonny

alrite... so has anyone got any oldskool bikes they would like to share? short story for you... my dad had a mk 1 chopper as a kid but always wanted the mk2 in red... and so he bought and restored one using all new bits off ebay, i used to go round old bike shops and tips with him in search of some old raleigh racers/shoppers which have virtually the same parts on them... one day we went to the tip and there was an old bmx frame/forks/bars etc lieing there without any wheels, turns out it was a raleigh night burner which is pretty rare... payed the guy £3 for it, fitted some mag wheels, cleaned it up abit and now i have myself an uber pimped ride to tear up the streets.... yeah... i know its a great story (i will post a pic of me burner tomorrow when its light and when i can be arsed...) so yeah... anyways... are there any oldskool bikes on the forum that you have? lets see them!

what is it with all newbies? you all just waste your money, your prepared to go and waste uneccassary money on a disk just because your mates have advised it? you have stated that your current set up works fine so why bother changing it?... maybe change the pads if anything or buy a different lever to improve the feel of the brake. some people on this forum are only trying to help but in my eyes they dont consider the price of the components and sometimes maybe they arent the best option. if i had to choose out of the two and had to give you advice, i would say to buy a second hand hs33 with some shit pads that offer decent modulation, i use koolstops and sometimes blacks depending on what im doing. dont waste your money mate if your v set up works fine, cause a front v is pimped. cheers Jonny

ok... so heres how it goes... i have an art exam on wednesday + thursday and iv done hardly any prep work because to be frank... im lazy. so what i need is a few decent high quality pictures that i can print out to make it look like i have done some research, im looking for different gaps/taps/drops/what ever from different angles and also some silhouetted shots of natural/street or whatever. i might end up drawing one of these so i need it to be interesting (to do with unusual perspective) and high enough quality to be able to see and draw it. cheers (i know im lazy) Jonny edit: if you could also send me the pictures that would also be great, heres my addy - JoNnY__Mc@hotmail.com
