  7. i'd get a fly pantera if i were you. http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=1690 i have had one. Sure it only last 10 months, but thats me. i have some nice falls. I cringe most of the time when i see my bike bouncing 10 meters away from where i fell. I was so in love with the ride of the pantera i now have another. You can have my 1st for 40 quid if you like. You'll see how it rides etc and get a while out of it. I rekon you'll easy have another year if you can get it welded. 2 cracks on the top of the seat stays. (pics if you want). Easily weldable, not twisted or bent. 21"tt, euro BB. so either mine, or a new pantera are my recomendations. Or look at the new federals as they are really good frames now (2005 ones). Even this... http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=1933 i know a few awesome riders on these including Jon Taylor of course and Baz Keep. Can't blame the frame if they have the same!!! john
  8. as mine reads yeah. double whip - flip. crazy shit lol

    Bmx Questions

the same as a headset. the bearings are in cups that press into the frame. Advantages are the strength of the bearings due to their larger size, and the fact that you have no threads to damage. only disadvantage is the added weight when compared to other smaller BB's. I have used a euro BB (threaded into frame like mtb, with smaller bearings than usa BB, for a year now and the bearings are still smooth. Euro is plenty strong enough for almost all people, and you get the added bonus of a slightly lighter bike. I'd recomend euro over american any day. some stubborn riders won't give it a chance however and say that it is no good. (you know the kind, the kind that don't like change and stick to what they know) john

  18. you'll only get laughed at more if you 'do up' your little 2 wheeled milkshake blender because everyone will know you have wasted loads of money trying to make it up to an acceptable speed because you are simply too young to own a car! respect to the lads who accept their age and just want an aid to get around and keep em standard. You can't look cool on a ped. gimpage is compulsary (Y). Also, people double the speed, but never touch the tyres or brakes which are suddenly being used at much higher levels than intended. you can argue its safe, but you would never catch me on a bike. f**kin death traps. john
  19. pfffffffft, call yourself educated (Y)"
  20. any chance someone could make the pictures re-appear?!?!?! john
  21. oh don't think i'm puttin neil or his riding down one bit. If you think that, you got it all wrong. john
  22. certainly is amazing, if you're lucky enough to have a nice day. I'll be walking it 3 times in one day in a couple of months. Plan is to walk up watkin path, down miners, up pyg, down miners, up pyg, down llanberis, then get a lift back to bottom of watkin and probably die on the spot! f**kin love that mountain! john
  23. is that or is it not eh miners track on mt snowdon. It COULD of course be the pyg track, depending on whether you are ascending or descending (Y)" . i've done that route twice in a day don't you know. john
  24. ignorant gimps. they damage things which means they are vandals. simple.
