its a question with no answer. Style, comp results, speed, coverage, amplitude of riding, consistency, and so many other things make up a rider. There is no best in my eyes. Everyone is different, hence the appeal of the sport as opossed to other sports where there is a winner and a loser. john

yeah like mat says its wearing out. No need to rush out to get a new rim though. If it's still working don't change it! It isn't any weaker... Bashguards do need to be compatible with the sprocket so you need to ask what will fit your sprocket in the shop, or if you are gonna buy both together, i'd recomend getting a macneil full guard. They are still light. john

trials is a sport based around copetition though, so a sponsor usually is solely interested in results. Koxx probably couldn't give a toss if benito was a stuck up nob turk, because if he gets results, he gets things sold, and so gets paid. BMX, once again, some of the most well known pro's within bmx don't even ride competitions. Trials is however different, and all about the comps. Normally... john

dave mirra is one of USA's richest sportsmen along with tiger woods, michael jordan, tony hawk etc. Don't forget he has a shitload of advertising campaigns, computer games, merchandise, and sponsors. (he doesn't ride for haro by the way now.....currently unsponsored as far as his bike goes)

It's hard to gauge how weathly the trials market is i think. i compare it to bmx (sorry, i know i tend to go on about it oh so often now). You can look at it in 2 ways. On one hand, the trials market is very small so the companies have nowhere near as much income as bmx companies, which means that they aren't going to be able to pay riders anything like bmx pro's can sometimes earn. But then you can look at it like this. Trials companies are few and far between, which means they have more of a tighter grip one what the consumers buy. There isn't 30 different companies for frames, there is basically 4 or 5 frame manufacturers, which also make most other components too. So maybe they are richer than i think and they actually can afford to pay a fair bit to riders. I'm not sure what the current money situation in trials is.... john

tobias is the only rider and indeed person, that i will be star struck when i meet him!! He is 2 years younger than me which kinda pisses me off too!!! I am riding in hamberg in the next front brake revolution contest in july, and in berlin in august at the Rebel jam at Tobias' home skatepark lol. f**king can't wait!!!! Also, the main pic thing is good but i couldn't on here as they are video snapshots and the quality wasn't up to much. Cheers for comments too... john

OK, my mate just called and asked where i was because i wasn't answering on msn and he wanted to send me a video. I am f**king right here at the pc, signed in, but he can't get through. From his end the message is sent, but i don't get it here. I clicked on the status thing and msn/hotmail is fine, and i am connected and everything is normal and hunky dory, but i can't get anyones messages??? wtf is up with it.
