  1. hahaha, cheers fella's, steve, ingrowing toenails are a killer!!! I'll be able to ride in January, pretty long time i suppose, but i've not been right for 10 months already, i haven't been allowed to ride since June last year, and i haven't even been able to kneel down since then, so i'm used to how it is! I'm half way through now, at the last stage and ready to work hard to get fit and get back to 100%. Just gotta turn the bad to good innit. don't be pissed off i can't ride now, just be excited i can ride in the future. it's all good. I'd do it all again if it meant i could ride some more. it's a small price to pay for all the fun i've had the last few years. Bongo.
  2. Quite a few people i know on here know about my knee situation thathas been going on since 21st June 2006. Basically, i fell off my bmx and snapped the ACL (Antierior Cruciate Ligament) in my left knee, which provides 90% of the stability in the knee joint. I had the snapped ligament removed in December as it was causing swelling due to the aggrevation it was causing, and i have been ont he waiting list for a replacement to be put in, to allow me to get back to normal. Last week i had a phone call with a cancellation date for tomorrow, so i'm off to get butchered. They are going to take a piece of hamstring tendon from the same leg, drill my femur and Tibia, then feed basically feed the tendon through the holes, which will become the new ligament. If you don't give a toss then thats cool, most won't lol, but thanks to the people who have sent good lucks to me (Y).   3. OK, easter saturday, SEVENTH APRIL. gonna be some wild egg awarding antics in the skatepark of Burnley. Same script as last time if you went to the one in september.     lol. the thing is, you never once asked if it'd happened to anyone else. In fact, you asked no question at all!! The closest you got to a question was when it looks like you are asking "whats up?" as in, what exactly is the problem you've had. If you have a problem and go to deal with it then another problem arises, or the same problem continues, you must return to the bank! It's ok son you'll learn.

  20. if i learnt anything it's not to rush back. It's all good at the time but a couple of years later it catches up. Just wait it out and exersise it. If you ain't in physio, get some, and if you've had it, carry it on with what you were told.
  21. very high in cholesterol though. 5 eggs with 3 or 4 yolks removed is much healthier, just as much protein (the reason you are eating them, if you're trying to build muscle), and taste just the same scrambled. about 7 grams of protein in the average sized egg
  22. You can read as many massive helpful posts as you like, the summary of all of them should be that you aren't taking enough protein and carbs per day. In order to do anything about it, you are going to HAVE TO eat at LEAST 1 gram of protein for each pound of body weight, every single day. So you'll be looking at 180 ish grams per day. You can then look at carbs. Double the protein, so call it 400 grams per day. Regardless of your routine in the gym, without this, you'll not really change. Which means the added inclusion of this, suggests you'll put weight on without changing any current routines. Just don't eat it all in one go. Stagger it through the day. Much more than 30 grams of protein in one go means it's a waste, as your body passes it through before it's taken the needed proteins. Everyone is different though, you obviously have a body thats not gonna be easy, so you gotta be extra strict and eat well, and more and mor and more. I know i can put on a stone of muscle in a couple of months by training and eating. I've done it before and it's there if i discipline myself. You may find it harder. Try. (Y).
