I always knew things would go pear shaped for you ian. You're a weird boy and i spotted it early. What has your life come to eh!!!
  3. got me a shot in ride this month lol. Actually looks poo compared to the same thing with a pic taken from above lol. ah well! still happy cos it was taken 2 weeks before my op!
  4. howabout jibbing the queer shoes and getting some bmx designed vans/etnies/orchids/lotecs. They are designed by riders and have shithot protection exactly where you're getting hurt. Whips cause mad damage there when you catch them so they are solid there and really good for gripping the pedals too. Or if you mean your ankle, like i just read possibly... Vans high tops. They atopped me dislocating and twatting my ankles You can't tell they are high tops anyway with pants on, so they still look pimpin! Vans shop in cheshire oaks had 2 pairs for £50. Bongo

Jeez Simon, do you leave rice pudding INCASE it's not quite hot enough???? Just go for stuff and say you've tried it all and done your best. f**k incase's and what if's off. You only get one go on living innit. Everyones different, but i'm gonna die knowoing that everything i've wanted, and wanted to do, has happened becasue i've never said what if. Loads of things have gone wrong. Split up with birds, tried tricks and ended up in hospital, got into debt, but i haven't regretted ANYTHING. Lie risky and you either have a shithot time, or learn a lot and then have a shithot time anyway! Bongo
  8. didn't realise you could see it still. I'm keeping the plate mate. I have put an ammendment at the bottom . thanks for spotting it!
  9. To be fair thoguh he'd probably not have got an answer in there as there are so many posts it would be a question in history after 10 minutes, engulfed by other posts!
  10. The focal length is a basic optical property of any lens, and the most important one to a photographer. The simple way to think of the focal length is to think of it as a numerical value, expressed in millimetres, which represents how much of a given scene (the coverage area) a lens can take in. Focal lengths for Canon SLR lenses range from ultra-wide (14mm) to incredibly long telephoto (600mm and 1200mm). The typical range of an affordable lens or lenses is from 28mm to 105mm or so. Why, then, these strange values in millimetres? Why not indicate the angle of view taken in by each lens instead? Well, partly for historical reasons and partly for practical reasons. The technical description of focal lengths is rooted in the mathematics of optics - it’s the distance between the focal plane and the rear nodal point of the lens, given infinity focus. How this bit of Martian translates to the field of view depends on the size of the imaging area being used, which can be different between 35mm film cameras, APS cameras and some digital cameras. And as for practical reasons, the focal length of a lens is an innate property of the lens, but the actual coverage area of the scene depends on the size of the image format used. So note that crucial point - all the examples I gave above are for a 35mm film camera or full-frame EOS SLR only. If you were to use a 28mm lens on an APS camera or a digital camera with an image sensor smaller than that of 35mm film (ie: most digital cameras sold today) then you would have a much narrower field of vision than if you were to use the same lens on a 35mm film camera. The same focal length system is used to describe lenses for other types of cameras as well, such as medium format cameras. But the area taken in by a lens on a medium format camera will be totally different from that of a lens of the same focal length on a 35mm camera, because the area covered by medium format film is considerably larger. I knew all along. Seriously dave, the FIRST link on my FIRST google search gave me this john...THE GURU...
  11. just depends who see' it really innit. Hence me putting it on a 10 day auction. Cross your fingers for it to sell eh!
  12. lmao you are!!! 28 days later 10/10 lol. It's worth it to hear the bird behind you balk when his fingers go into peoples eyes!
  13. OK so despite the £6400 reserve, i posteda starting price of 1p for more views. I clearly stated that the reserve was £6400 yet i have 2 bids to 6p . Is this a good sign???! I dunno how ebay works really lol. Do people work ebay like this??? Just putting a daft bid in so they can view it like??

i didn't make you out to be a cock at all. I do happen to know a couple who have been married 3 years who met on AIM though. He now lives in Ormskirk after moving from Boston... 99% of relationships don't work. Chances are that you'll split up with your bird. You never know until you try though. I know a girl who has gone to america this morning in fact to see her boyfriend of 1 year who she met at Woodward this time last year. How you meet is irrelevent. It's how you click. If you live your life not doing things becasue they probably won't turn out pukka is the only way you're going to go toyour grave regretting not doing things. Do it all and grow old knowing you gave life 100% at everything and tried what opportunities arose. Bongo

Maybe he realised that the focal length of his camera lense that he's been asking about in the other thread, 17mm, was another way for Nikon to tell him the length of his nob.
  23. But i already know it's tough to sell a car like this, and i also know that the figure i want to sell it at is the going rate for this car of this age at this time, so i can't just drop to what's bid this time in a later auction. I do really want a sale quickly you see. Could i put it a £0 for more views and then once they see it they can read that the reserve is 6400 and then bid that. That way even one bid will guarentee me my money??? Bongo
  24. I'm typing out my car for an ebay auction. I'm putting the reserve as 6400, buy it not at 6600. Now the starting figure, i know it can be what i like, but is it the norm to have the staring fee less than the reserve or the same price or what??? I want some bids! I'm going to be stating what the reserve is by the way so people know where they are up to and it's not a guessing game. bongo
