Forgive me, but how do i see my own feedback?? I am getting messages left right and centre telling me i have feedback but i can't find it!

The key is to study and understand the move. Really study a video of a good hook and undertsnad the points throughout it. Pick it to bits. You need to understand how to hook the bike, the bikes position, your position on the way up, in the hook, and whilst transitioning from the hook up. Recognise subtle things like pressure through the bike and when it occurs, to carry momentum through the move. When i learn anything i disect it and perfect one thing at a time, accepting failure for a while, until i tick each box and it comes together. Try it out. Bongo

I think you're abut 2 weeks late for a thread like this!!!

The best riders ride the things they can't do

bmx have used magnesium pedals for years.

when you search on google, it only on the top right, if it's in the dictionary, apparently, it shows the word in blue bold and underlined.
-
haha, nope. The second word isn't real, and either way, it has 9 results!
-
you just broke my heart. i'm on the search once more.I'm still proud to get a single result though nah, it's not exciting at all! But if you watched Gorman, you'd try, and if you tried, you may get close, and if you get close, you'll want to get closer, then you get a single result an it's Boss!!!
-
Oh my god, i've not even finished watching Dave Gorman - Googlewhack, but i'm in love with it!!! It's sooooooo clever. I just tried, half heartedly, and got a googlewhack in about 5 minutes!!! A googlewhack is where you type in 2 words into google, and you get ONE result. Give it a try!! i got so excited when i got it, and had to post this to release my satisfaction!!! So, my first and oly googlewhack is....... orgasmatronic thermodynamics Go get some and you'll understand my excitement!!!!! Bongo

haha innit!!! googlewhack lol. 10/10!!!!!

your post office has nothing to do with receiving a parcel. It goes to the depot, not the post office. Any way, even if it's the depot you meant, it's clearly not shit as you go what you ordered!!!

f**kin postmen are grippers round here! We got post as normal yesterday?!!! But today, my post office is closed!

Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata Always loved it. You DO know it even if you don't realise!!! So download it! For you older guys, you may remember it was in Earthworm Jim, on the Inflated head level!!!!
-
it's no secret when you join though. It's their choice and they know what they're joining up to. Same with postmen, but obviously somewhere along the line something is being taken away from them i presume, hence the strike??

i can't believe you even bothered... It was a common tale in school back in the day, when i was in primary school 18 years ago...

i kinda agree, but as a 'BT Engineer' i know how vague that title is. I'm one, and i know posties do a lot more than me. But then i know engineer's who do a lot more than soldiers and firemen!!! I know lads who go up poles in -10, and break the ice in manholes to fix cables, then others who sit at a desk and use a laptop, and they are all still BT engineers on EXACTKY the same pay. (BT pays staff on grades. No matter what job, if you are that grade, you get that wage) I don't know enough about the strike to comment though! Bongo

Technically, if i'm being picky, a profile hub actually only has 24 engagement points within the hub. One revolution of the hub does create 48 engagemenets, because 2 pawls engage at one point, then another 2 engage half way in between, doubling the number of engagements from 24 to 48. To look at it in terms of reliability, you could say that this means the engagments are going to be more reliable. This is becasue the space taken up on the outside surface of the inner of the hub, is only filled with 24 engagements, not 48, which means they can be double the size, making the pawls engage deeper and have more contact against the hub. In the event of a slip, there are 2 pawls waiting to engage hald an engagement away, and are more likely going to catch than a hub with more engagements, because the size of the engagements and depth, determines the strength of the spring required to push the pawls into them. Because the engagements are bigger, the springs are that little bit stronger, to push the pawl deep into the engagement. Profiles are very safe hubs for trials for these reasons, and obviously others. I don't know if any of the other systems work in this way, maybe they do. Bongo

A small "pointless" change like this could change trials riding. It's just progression. If it doesn't work fair enough, but it could be a change that makes new things possible. 4 years ago everyone used seats and had a lot more conventional frames compared to tdays weird things, that are now considered the norm. Maybe pointless, but it just might not be...
