  1. I know about using computers, and i understand numbers when it comes to memory, etc etc etc, but when it comes to picking a laptop, i get a bit lost... I need to help my cousin choose a laptop, but i'm not sure myself. I've looked on the dell website, but realised i'm not sure how to choose... They are after the basics. Internet, downloading music etc, and a general computer. They don't need specific programs really, for editing or whatever. Probably XP, but only becasue i don't really know anything about this vista thing! If people know any links of good ones, rather than just general advice, it'd be much appreciated. They don't want to go over 450 - 500, but if they can get what they want for less, they'd like that! Bigger the better when it comes to the screen... Thanks, Bongo
  2. forgive the obvious post, but can't you measure the one in work???
  3. My dad works for Martin Mere wildfowl and wetlands trust, and the last few weeks, they have introduced european beavers to the place. These are the first Beavers in 500 years in the UK except for zoo's. You may have seen them on the news etc. I've been asked to put together a film of the beavers, which will be shown looped on a Screen in the hide at the beaver area. It's going to be around an hour long and has had loooooads of footage for it. I'm beginning to edit it after capturing it all and sorting the footy. It's not NEEDED, but what i want, is to add some suitable audio to it. I have no idea what would go with beavers swimming, eating, playing and collecting wood etc!!! If anyone can help me put together some idea's for suitable music that can work. Let me know!!! bongo
  4. The amount of injuries i've had mate, the NHS have had their work cut out, and to be honest, they've fixed me up pretty bloody well every single time. Been good to me. Obviously i'd like to get it all done NOW! So waiting lists are about the only thing i can really complain about. Bongo
  5. oh yeah it's hilarious watching people in agony...
  6. hahaha, what does he win?? a f**kin scorpian down his dick knowing the japanese!
  7. I think the problem is that there is a petrol line, and it's a diesel van... Sorry thom, it's a helpless post. Hope you sort it though Bongo
  8. Not good at all mate. Not to put a downer on things, but it's going to be mor elike two years i'd say. Maybe longer. I've lost 18 months off snapping JUST my ACL. He's quite obviously damaged, and probably completely snapped his ACL, PCL, LCL and MCL. Along with this there will be mucles and tendon damage, and also highly likely, there will be substantial meniscal damage/cartilage damage. It's gonna be a huge job, with a long slow recovery and a lot of life disruption. I wish him all the best. Think to the future, and things will pick up. It's out of his control and the only way to get through it is to think of the end. There is no point at all being pissed off with what's happened. It can't be changed. The only thing you can control is how you spend the time waiting. This is vital for good moral. You have to find a way to be excited about when you can ride again. It is hard but when it clicks, you'll be able to deal with the time. Good luck fella. Bongo
  9. They say is every year don't mworry mate. It was said whnei i was staring to drive in the year 2000. It's comes round every year ut nonthin ever hapepnens
  10. (Y) thanks you two. Didn't know about the discount on the postage bolocks. I'll give it a go (Y)
  11. I don't know how old you are, but when your mates know that you and your bird are "going steady", and they still ask "have you got off with her" it don't seem like the most mature relationship with your mates and/or friends. The fact that you are emailing your bird is worrying too.... f**k emails. They're for work and selling things. The voicebox is for the bird. Go talk to her...
  12. Right, i've got a couple of fishing reel's that i want to sell. I want to put them up on ebay and give the buyers the option of buying one or both. I don't want the buyer to be put off by having to purchae both if they only want one, but on the other hand if they want to buy both, i don't really want two seperate auctions, as i would be willing to settle for slightly less if they bought them both at the same time etc etc. If you get what i mean, and can give me some info on the best way to sell them, let me know. It may be the case that it's best to have two seperate auctions, but i'm justr after advice from people who might have done multiple sales before. I've only sold individual items before... I'll do the same with a couple of fishing rods too once i know how. Possibly even give the buyer the option of buying both rods and both reels as a package???? Info needed please on how i go about doing it most efficiently, to get me money and not put buyers off!!! Thanks, Outer Bongolia
  13. It was sarcasm, that clearly went straight over your head!
  14. imogen heap - hide and seek, 342 plays beethoven - moonlight sonata - 32 plays Johnny cash - hurt - 22 plays Paramore - misery business - 21 plays Lol, these 4 totally don't represent the kind of music my itunes mainly consists of. I was well shocked they were leading the field!!!
  15. You should get one of the oars with 2 ends mate. you'll be able to steer much better instead of getting inot a mess like this! If you'd had a double ended oar you'd have been able to stay out of the rough bits and keep safe in the shallows!

    What's Your Job?

i told you swallowing worked Mong taught me about that one!
  18. It's highly likely that is is his, coupled with a shitty attitude, you think the policeman would let him just walk off?? If it was on street crime UK and you watched it and the policeman did nonthing, there would be uproar that the police aren;t doing their job, yet when they do do their job people moan as well! Ruels are rules. If you break them you CANNOT moan in anyway in my opinion. You can moan about how they deal with you, but not for the rule you break. If it turns into a policemans attitude problem, fair enough, it could well have been a shitty attitude, but then why be nice to a lad drinking magners underage, with weed 5 yards away from him, who woun't answer your questions and "know's his rights". I know i'd not give a toss about how i talked to him if i was the policeman. Bongo
  19. There could well be more to the story. Like i said in my first post, i'll take what i said back, should he come up with something that is clearly out of order. Up to now however, apart from POSSIBLY being a bit picky, the policeman seems to have done nothing more, than his job.
  20. ...apart from a bag of weed just outside the door of the car...
  21. I hope when you come back and add to the story, you don't turn it into a "look how the tosser policeman dealt with me" story... You acted like they don't want to see an innocent person act, and he did his job, so that's the end of it... Unless however something does turn out to be clearly out of order. But at this stage, you're in the wrong and didn't deal with it well.
  22. bmx is wayyyyy bigger, and even then, bm shops find it tough to survive. It's only mailorder that keeps them going in most cases. bongo
  23. Haha, nah, i gave a simple explanation, but i can't f**kin do them!
  24. Well why the f**k isn't there any pictures of the very things that make the bike in question unique???!!!!! That's like modding the f**k out of a car engine, then putting up a photo of the car with the bonnet closed and not mentioning whats been done!! I'm open to changing my view of the bike, knowing that it indeed has individuality! But you gotta make sure people know about what's been done if you want accurate responses Bongladeshi
