mate, these threads are never useful. To you i mean. Everyone finds some companies more expensive than aothers, but the ting is, there is never a pattern. Ian found tesco good, and they tried to rape me. Axa were good to me, but raped my dad (yeah, in his ass!). You gotta just do the work and type like a twat for hours one night to try loads of companies. I'm happy with the way i did it though, which was the first 2 years go on my parents. It was much cheaper, and i saved more in them 2 years by doing that, than i would have by getting an extra 2 years of no claims. So it was well worth the choice. If it's not an option though, keep looking round. As much as you don't want to, get fully comprehensive insurance. Or you'll be stuffed big time 'when' you crash. (you probably will at some point to be honest in the first 2 years) Nearly everyone does...

Right, if you haven't got google earth, get it NOW. It is fooking amazing. I spend hours on it regularly! Finding roads to ride my bike on, finding race tracks, places i've been, amazing things like everest, the 'world' islands, egypt, holiday places i've been etc etc etc. I thought though, surely somewhere there must be a plane or helicopter in flight.... I managed to find one taking off, but only thousand or so feet off the ground, so i couldn't really count that. It's an obvious place to find a plane, just next to a runway. I challenge you to find a plane in proper flight! It's a long shot, so also, if you find anything worth looking at, get it in this thread. I'm always thinking what i can look for on the good old google earth! Bongo

yeah they'll no doubt be decent, but the germans killed the jew's very effectively. It doesn't mean i should agree with it! Teaching in education isn't in the same league when it comes to applying comparisons (neither are jews but you got what i meant lol) We're talking about a sport, that people pick up through friends and experience. You can tell a chile 2 X 2 = and he will learn how to do it in a jiffy. You can't teach bike control so easily. I'm not saying they'll learn nothing. They will. But as a moral thing, i'd rather show people for free on rides. Whoever i meet i'll try to help if i'm able to. It's not a case of reaching people through the country to help, it's about money. I'm just not into it. People are happy to pay, and wll go away happy, i just thing it's a shame someone gave them the option to pay.

I'm going to be totally honest (which is kinda hard when it's aimed at people i know and get on with). I'm really against this kind of thing. To take people's money in exchange for your knowledge is a real shitty thing to do. It's a business thing, i understand that. But i'd just not be involved in any business venture like this. We all learned off riders better than us. We all asked how to do this and that, we all watched the good riders. For free. Now, the riders that have got good and have gained experience (and know full well that you can't simply learn something, are offering this to riders who haven't yet realised that you can't just learn something by paying and being told how to do it. I think more people will disagree with me than agree, but i'm just not into taking people's money off them for knowledge. If i needed money, i'd find another way of making it. Bongo

Ok it's radio 1's 40th Birthday tomorrow. There have been loads and loads of modern day artists covering songs from each year, all the way back to 1967, when the station started. I'm desperately after Natasha Bedingfields cover of ray of light, by Madonna. It was amazing. If anyone has it and wants to send it me, then let me know! Happy Birthday Raio one! Bogno

i thought as much...

is there any proof about this?? Links to some evidence?? Only saying this becasue it's rumoured every single year but not come into force yet. Is it for real this time?

i like Pete. It was genuinely entertaining reading his posts.

i hope you're right, it's just the audible click that happened that's a worry, plusthe fact that it SWOLLEN, not just swollen!! What will be will be! No point worrying when it's unchangeable (Y) Everything is alright in the end. It's the only way to look at it innit. Bongo

Well the X rays showed that there was no bone damage, which i was almost certain with anyway. It also showed the bolts/clips that hold the new ACL in place. They were as they should be. My knee cap was in the wrong place though. But it was moving freely and was put down to the swelling causing it to sit over to the side, which makes sense. This isn't actually good new though, becasue it means the problem is something else. That's all i know atr this stage. It'll be a while before i know. I need another MRI or CT scan to see whats happened. Bongo

if you wank with your wrong hand it feels like it's someone else... lmao, that old chesnut! Left handed people have smaller brain mass do less well at school and won't live as long. They are more prone to being committed to mental homes, get depressed easier, can't handle relationships as well and find the opposite sex less attractive than the same sex.

or lets say, even... A years difference is a lot in your teens. Everyone matures at different times so a year could be a huge difference, or no difference at all. If it's a secure relationship then it'll happen. If you're in a relationship, in my experience, it's never a concern, or something you have to really think about really. It just happens with trust and time together. If you're a bit fresh together though, be careful cos you can still get into shit if you have a nasty break up and she turns against you. Not really worth worrying about that though, get your end away it's reet bo!

i spent 2 hours watching over 12 pages og weebl and didn't find it. I remember it...

well in this situation it would be rude not to! Same here, but mine was last week

i did have it repaired properly. I had a full ACL replacement in march. It took that long for the op. I did it 21st June 2006 and had to wait till march this year for the op. I'm 6 months post op now. Bongo

errrrrrr, i'm off to A&E tonight. I may have snapped it again... That's all i know. I was kind of told that i could BEGIN to ride again, as in, i can start rolling. The other doc said i couldn't get back to any kind of normality. Friday night and i was rolling around. Nothing at all 'good', but i ended up dropping only about 4 feet to both feet. My legs couldn't hold me up and i bend right down. It was too much for my leg and i THINK i heard a click. I know i felt it, but thinking back, i think i actually heard it with my ears, but can't be 100%. It didn't hurt too much to be honest, although it has swelled similar to when i did it, and now feels similar. Needless to say, i'm very scared right now... Been to see my physio just then and i gotta go to A&E and get a fast track to the CT scan front of the que becasue of the history of my knee. Nobody can see anything without the scan. It could be the biggest lesson i ever learnt. I'm extremely annoyed, but i still know that i didn't do anything i wasn't allowed to do. I quite obviously shouldn't be on the bmx now. I am fine to ride it, but i don't have the strength to fall, so i shouldn't be on it yet. If i have done it again, basically i'm f**ked bigtime. Let's all hope for my knee eh. Update when i know anymore... ( i know it's on a public forum, but anyway, i've actually said quite an ellaborate but realistic and believeable story which would turn what could be classed as a wanker type of injury, into an unfortunate set back type of injury, from the doctors point of view.)
