yeah, i speed, but when i get caught i don't moan! If they can see you, they can do you. Straight from the horses mouth, wheni got caught a while back...
  2. Nowt you can do to stop nerves. Nerves can be good. Make your nerves work your way by keeping 100% concentration. It's the luck of the draw at the end of the day. Good luck fella.
  3. impulse buying at it's best!! I completed the season in 1st position in rookie and pro, in GP style and extreme style with 100% simulation on MotoGP 07, so i returned it all and got a full refund for everything lmao. So now i have £250 spare that would have been spent had i not returned it. Straight into my savings for my new bike lol. I wantd one to play that game, i bought one to play that game, i played that game...for free! Easy! Bongo
  4. look at the shadow. It changes. A fair representation of a silouette that COULD be travelling either way would not have a shadown that does that. The foot moves right to left when nearest the bottom of the screen, when the shadow is visible, hence the reason you see it as travelling clockwise. If you see it anti-clockwise, you're obviously retarded lol.
  5. totally depends what you want to shoot, and how. IF you want to get into field target, don't buy anything yet. Get to your local club and have a natter. Guarenteed, you'll buy the wrong stuff otherwise. Obviously you'll not buy 2k worth of gear, but if you speak to the people there, they will advise you on what is available, for a beginner that will get you into it giving you the best chance to learn, pick it up and have a good chance of enjoying yourself while progressing. Field target shooting is basically shooting at knock down metal targets. They are all of a certain size, placed throughout courses in forests etc, and all at different distances. You go around a course set out by the club. 30 shooting points in summer, 25 in winter, with 2 targets at each point. You have a hole in the target that you must shoot through. If you do, the target knocks back and you score a point. You pull the target back up with a string and move on. Obviously, points make prizes. I did it for years and with a lot of success. I was junior north west champion a few years on the trot, i was regularly placing top 3 in the 'normal' competitions open to all ages and came 4th in the national junior's one year. Not to blow my own trumpet The thing with field target that is often different to other types of shooting, is the positions. There is sometimes a prone position in the course somewhere, lying down. There is always a kneeling one, a standing, and the rest you are sta on your arse with your knee's up and you rest your rifle on your knee. Easy you mihgt think, but when the target is 4cm, at 75 yards, with wind taking your pellet up to 2 feet, or 10 yard target that is 1mm larger than the pellet you're firing, it's never easy. IF you do get into this, you'll be steering clear of break barrel rifles, sticking to .177, and eventually everyone tends to go down the route of pneumatic rifles, which push the pellet out with a blast of air. Scopes are obviously essential, and you'll be after a scope with a parralax adjustment, which is a range finding wheel. Basically a focus, so you focus it in, then where the focus wheel lands against the arrow, it tells you your distance, and then you can adjust the cross hair with another wheel so that you always aim dead center of the target regardless of distance. It's as complex and pricy as you want to make it really. I'd masively reccomend field target shooting. Here is the british field target assosiation site with masses of info. http://www.bfta.net/ Bongo
  6. you HAVE to have a rifle at 12ft/lb or less unless you have a fire arms licence. .177's are more accurate. I hope a no all doesn't come on here telling me i'm wrong either lol. There are reasons that are boring and technical to prove this, but i'll not go into it unless i have to. For targets, it's .177. I competed in Field target shooting for years inmy early teens. I'd advise joining a club, then it gives you a purpose to shoot. It gets very boring very quickly just going shooting for no reason. I used to have a Precharged pneumatic Ripley AR4, a Sportsmatch GC2, a Weirach HW77K, and Air arms XM100, and an Air arms TX200 SR (Semi-recoiless: the action moved inthe stock when fired to reduce recoil and improve accuracy. Tips for you to buy:- If you want accuracy, pneumatics are the way. NO recoil and no spring irregularity to change muzzle velocity. But, much pricier with aqua lungs required, pressure guages etc. .177 for accuracy. .22 for hunting/closer range. Ask away and i will help rather than typing tons!
  7. it might do you good if you do get f**ked over. Police go too easy on criminals. Get your life sorted out, stop robbing, and get mates you can trust. He sounds like a mate for life letting you take the blame. I'd rather see you make a thread saying you'd turned your life around and were clear of shite
  8. so did anyone actually turn up??? If you didn't you missed out. It was amazing lol. Cash prizes for best tricks and high airs sent people crazy...
  9. Yup. in te 5 years i rode trials i NEVER banged my head or face. In the 4 years of bmx i've knocked teeth out 3 times (except the second 2 times i already had none and so just wrecked my lips and fangs lol. Been knocked out plenty of times and broken my nose and jaw. Trials just doesn't seem to have the same facial dangers!! But you should defo still wear a lid.
  10. Lol, 1k - 2k each i got quoted. I ended up not getting that done though, as the day before i went to get started with moulds etc, i f**ked the teeth i had left in another crash worse than the first. I decided to get a platinum brace (a posh, skimpy denture made of platinum so it's strong and can be really tiny), until i stopped riding, as i will and have banged my mouth/face since. If you get implanted teeth and smash them out you're in the shit, becasue the titanium stalks drilled into your jaw won't break, your jaw will. I was advised to leave them until i'm out of riding. Bongo
  11. Not being funny mate but if you want people to make effort to help, make the effort to get some photo's that are actually helpful.

hahahahaha. i've never heard of either of them lol. football is for little fairy boys.
  13. i tailwhipped a monty a couple of years ago to normal feet and cross foot. It's sooo wrong though lol. It's a trials bike! **It was for novelty purposes only** Bongo
  14. get an xbox 360! Mines amazing f**king brilliant lol...... what a helpful post!
  15. i ended up getting the elite, but pre-owned. It looked perfect, works fine, and comes with a 12 month comprehensive warrenty anyway, which is the same as new, plus it was 250 with 2 games which suited me as they're the games i was after. Only thing was i have no manuals etc, but it's no problem that. I did think it was broke when i set it up though as i didn't know how to connect the wireless pad up to work lol. But a quick call to the shop and he said press this and press that. The transformer is f**king retarded though! It took 3 donkeys to carry it to my car
  16. Very hard to watch that. I've followed his progress since it happened but that's the first time i've heard him talking about it. After seeing him at events, and to know that we've been sat on the same ramp in rampworx riding, despite not actually knowing him, it's just horrible to know has happened.
  17. Just wrecked my day at work by staying up all night racing a full season on the motoGP circuit lol. f**king retarded how accurate it is as far as the riding simulation is. It does what a real bike does if you ab the rea brake in a corner, or brake hard when turning or accelerate out of a corner too early etc. It's just amazing! Awesone choice of money spending if i do say so myself!
  18. lol, i got the dear one haha. Thanks for all th'elp
  19. fair play. i'm a huge fan of the haggle so it'll be a good challenge i'll go there now.
  20. That's the reason i'm not going to get the one where i can go online lol. I don't WANT to spend the money. I have played online before though on my PC, i have steam, but to be honest, it never did get me and i can't actually remember last time i used it! Memory card is £30 you say (ish), but mr Haz says i will get one with the cheapo??? None of the bleeding shops actually say "what's included..." Anyway, i'm going to check my bank balance and going to argos. Thanks a bunch everyone. Really appreciate it when people bother their arses to help (Y) Bongo i'm not a fan of 2nd hand mate. I wouldn't even buy 2nd hand off my bestest bestest mate i d on't think. Not becasue of a trust issue, but i just like new. I know where i'm up to and have accurate ammunition when they go wrong for me to go to the shop lol. Ta though
  21. Sorry for the long post but pleeeease read it!! Sorry to be a thick b*****d, but why is it a drawback??? If i'm not playing online, do i need the space?? I'm still not sure what the HD is used for! I know above it was mentioned it was used for mulitple profiles, but what does that mean?? For me, who wantst to play the odd quick race or have a dick about, would it still be an advantage to have the £250 over the £180, as it's a fair price difference. How much is a memory card?? Would it not be (for me) cheaper and just as 'good' to buy the cheaper one and a memory card. Remember I'm NOT going to be playing these massively complex 1st person kind of splinter cell shooty up games. I'm looking at colin mccrae/need for speed/project gotham, motoGP 06 and 07 etc etc. Racing/sport only really. Which, as far as profiles go, ain't gonna be taking up alot of space on the hard drive is it??? Jeez, in my day of master systems and Commodore 64's you went out, bought the computer (of which there was one model), turned it on, put your name on, played, saved, then turned on again and clicked load, and carried on where you left off. Can't i just do that again with this one! All i f**king want is to race round tracks backwards trying to get the biggest head on collision! Thanks for ALL your help, really appreciate it. Bongo
  22. thanks a lot lads. I'm all mixfuzzled now though! I now might want the next one up for around 250. But i don't want to spend that much! question... Does it cost you money to play online?? How do you connect up to it all?! Do i connect it to my PC or what lol?! I don't wanna be paying for playing online! If i have to buy a subscription or pay to play then i'll defo get the core one. I could upgrade later for not much??? (if i got into it)
  23. hmm, ok i'll have a think then. I'm looking at the MotoGP games 06 and 07, plus maybe granturismo (if it's on the 360??????????) and maybe a GTA game. It's for the odd bash for an hour when i'm bored or injured. One thingn thoughthat might be quite improtant. IF i get the cheap one, it has no hard drive. Is the harddrive like an internal memory card?? So that if i get the cheap one, will i have to buy a memory card, or hard rive for it to save anything???? Help asap, as i'm an impatient twat and will most likely end up getting one today lol.
  24. Reet o peeps, I'm after an xbox 360 as my trusty PS2 has died. I'm after it for the motogp game, and maybe a couple of other driving games, and dave mirra if you can get it. I've heard of a few people that they'd heard something about 'don't get this version, or stay away from that version' etc etc, but they couldn't tell me anything more than the fact they'd heard 'something', which was no help to me at all really! Anyone know anything about this?? So... Am i right in thinking that i just want the xbox360 core? (becasue i don't want to play 'online' and all that bollocks.)Will the cheap one play all the games still?where is the cheapest place to get it from?can i get dave mirra?are they actually really good like people seem to say / are they worth it?! I am trauling through the websites kind of blindly as we speak, so i am bothering to search etc, but this thread could help a lot more than just searching and maybe not finding much. The key one really is where can i go to spend the least money (to buy a new one) Bongo
