If you can't see where you are reversing though, you should do something to the same effect anyway, you don't need the benefit of hindsight to know you shouldn't aim your car somewhere that you can't see is clear, or if you are, at least drive slow enough to stop if an old man walks in the way. Forwards, mehh, someone could walk out on a 40 road yeah then it's unavoidable, but reversing from a house, two houses back, it's easy enough to go real slow when your mirrors are showing black darkness. yeah that's harsh mate. But how did they suppose they can impose a curfew on you, ban you from driving and make you report to the police station 3 times a week 'over the counter'. These all involve courts. If you have a curfew, presumably you have a tracker thing on you?? If you're driving a car though, forwards or backwards, you need to know where you are telling it to go, so with an unlit street light, at night, under a tree, you 'should' have stopped until you were sure there wasn't a man there. It's easy to say you were right or wrong when you use the laws to decide, because they're clear cut and there are no buts. Unfortunately, it's how the police and prosecutors do too. If it's too foggy to see and you hit something, you can't use the fog to get out of it. You should have stopped until you could see, or gone so slow that you could avoid anything once it appeared... Sorry you feel down mate, things always work out. It's a temporary shit bit in a long life...

hahaha, i know!! BUT, there is still a chance they are wrong! Hopefully not i gotta see how it goes. They thought it wasn't broken for 6 months when i first did it though! There is always a chance the scan is wrong, but i'm happy for now that there is nothing obvious!!

wahooooooooo!!!! Scan shows clear!!! No acl damage, but torn meniscus on outside of knee. BUT, 10% of scans are wrong so for 100% clarity he needs to see with his eyes. Waiting till 18th April to see how it is. If any problems then he will do the arthroscopy within a month from that date and then know 100% either way. But he thinks it's fine to run, swim, gym, cycle, etc, but specifically told me no backflips or jumps!! Haha. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!

nope, they're not allowed to do you head on. Most don't actually flash to oncoming vehicles, but i know of 2 in liverpool that do. I also know that i have driven through and had them flash me head on many many times with no come back as i know they're not allowed to prosecute using an oncoming vehicle photograph. *IF IT'S A CAMERA WITH A FLASH* The reason is that they shouldn't actually go off, because the flash could startle you in your face and cause an accident, so unless the camera has no flash, you won't get done. Anyway, if it has no flash you wouldn't know it went of, so it obviously did, which means you're safe!
