  4. Excellent video! as usual. Im wondering who the female singer is?
  5. I've got the Dual Airs Pikes and they are, indeed, so adjustable to how you want them to feel. Ie Initialy very plush or initialy less active.
  6. Rob, aslong as you get some rockshox forks that are "U turn" they can be travel adjusted externaly Unfornately Pikes dont have a normal Q/R hub option. Revelations do have Normal Q/R and 20mm maxle options. Pikes are slightly more on the beefcake/dh side of riding. What front hub have you got? If its a hope pro2 or bulb you can get 20mm converters. If that were the case i'd got for Pikes. Only reason I wouldnt go for Fox forks is that the people I know that have owned them have had various reliability issues. Rockshox and Marzzochi tend to be a bit more fit and forget. Hope that helps a little.
  7. Stay well clear of Fox Air forks!

  10. Im not trying to put a downer on this vid. but to be honest this is newskool filth! Try watching an oldskool rider that has ideas. Ie Osato etc.
  11. i like the marins ,, we should get upto uk bike park ...........next year when ist dry!
  12. And me! dodgy. Rather like not using a hammer and a nail for a freewheel I guess.
  13. My SantaCruz Heckler updated. Hayes Stroker Trail 180/203. Ea70 bars. 70mm Racface stem. White decal set ( not pink anymore ) Blackspire uptensioner on BB. Single 34 front ring with dirtybash.
  14. Pretty sure Warner And Peat dabbled in trials at that point too. They werent great
  15. best video to happen on the forum this year
  16. Phew Im sure this could have been made clear quite early on by several people , and suspect Mr "I dont go to the gym" Marshall of a big wind up Cheers for the final answer Adam Im so glad I know my lockring is well and truly done up now! No Thanks to Supercycles For employing a teaboy to answer the phone.
  17. Erm , no he didnt. I was very careful about that . This is getting silly I thought tensile freewheels had an opposite thread on them so as to stop the lockring coming undone when mounted on cranks? If it is the case that the tensile has a right hand thread it means that other freewheels such as an eno must have left hand threads standard? If you know for sure can you just let me know, in writing ! lol Argghh
  18. Supercycles( you know, the Tensile importers ) have told me that the Tensile 60 click has a lockring with a left hand thread. Therefore Tartybikes Info is wrong. So if I did believe you, I would be "hitting" it tighter everytime by now.
  19. So my next question is,, considering spare parts are offered for user servicing..... I dont seem to be able to find a tool to fit ( one that i can put a big spanner on! ) I realise that a pin spanner could be used , but is not up to the job considering the lockring is loctited from factory. Any ideas from Adam would be greatly recieved
  20. My point being , I hope you use the correct tool for your Eno Dave? not hammer and nails. x And why should I have to resort to bashing my freewheel with a hammer and Nail?? It doesnt feel like my King meh. Infact it feels a bit notchy in places, hence why id like to see any possible defects inside. Im not having a pop at anyone, its the fact that ive realised that compared to even a hope pro2 these freewheels are pretyy primative in design still. Surely Tarty must have a tool for the job? or Is a tensile 60 click considered a throw away item?
  21. Its not coming undone. Will make a tool to fit if it doesnt behave on the bike. Come to the conclusion its not worth taking apart, will flush it out with wd40, then load it up with a thin oil. Oh and dave,,, http://www.aspirevelotech.com/Merchant2/me...ode=WHITE_TOOLS Cheers for the help to anyone that replied
  22. Cheers Mark , So what method do I use to undo the lockring when the freewheel isnt on a crank arm? Bearing in mind I think its got loctite on the thread and wont budge at all. Surely a proper 2 pin tool must be used? I will be fine when ive got the lockring undone. No, I want to undo it. read posts again
