still a good deal i think. for most riders will be fine. your just way too hardcore ash in my experience riders that snap frames need to get a little smoother.

anyone else had sleep physcosis? its where u are concious and u think right i wanna get up now, but u are paralised. extremely scary its like a battle to get your arms/legs to move

Er because, a cycle doesnt legaly have to ride in designated cycle lanes. I live in a relatively un -urbun area. i never use the cycle lanes. . Mainly cause i can keep up with the traffic just fine. depends where u live i guess? in salisbury no one gets stressed. if they do it doesnt end up being a drama. chris

not quite a dream , but it scared me! have u ever slept on your arm? i did the other night and it went numb. it felt like it was 2 foot longer and was totaly dead. i woke up and had a panic atack, it felt like it would never recover. the brain is a cool thing! it must have woken me up. within 5 minutes it was ok just felt like jelly, hard to explain , not pleasant. chris

i love mbuk too! i bought the first ever issue still love it, but basicaly the magazine should not have negative things about two wheeled activities its all good im a dirty roadie( takes it up the B*M ) , 24 rider, xc rider cant be assed if u ride a bike u should be included in one big gang. if u cant handle watching something that u know u cant do, dont watch. being a very avid xc rider, it so annoys me reading letters from C**ts that have obviously bought their way into a middle aged sport like xc , then continue to slag off a very exciting sport like trials for example in the afan forest carpark, some middle aged idiots with a gay beemer. decide to take the piss cause we can do a wheelie? and basicaly they cant ! ? believe me there is a lot of bullshit in all forms of cycling! Have to say road cycling has the least bullshit. argh

If martyn/martin ashton ( cant remember wich one , not much difference!) is supposed to be the trials guy for mbuk, he must get told what he can say and not say? just like he complains about pixie boots and trackie bottoms in street. Trials wont ever be governed by mbuk! ( so maybe both bad points and good points Martin lets in?) Its all politics and money! Probably doesnt matter though! Trials is stronger now than people think! Thought i'd start this topic off as a way of explaining what happened to me on New years day! Riding home from the centre of Salisbury on New years day. Merrily freewheeling at around 8mph. A tramps/winos dog suddenly jumped up, barked and ran towards me. I naturaly thought it was going for me and swerved out of the way. The only problem was it was going for another dog wich was being walked on a lead by its owners. The loose terrier then tried to run around the front of my wheel. It hadnt judged my speed and had the red mist for the other dog. It tried to run through my front wheel. This ended up in a hideous entanglement and nasty snapping noises . The dog was so messed up in my wheel, it couldnt get out. Someone had to pull it out. The dog convulsing all the time this is happening. Luckily I had only broken the dogs leg, ( it could have been worse if i hadnt of braked/dismounted).The winos were unusuly calm about the whole thing. After a bit of shock I left the scene having agreed that I was riding on the sidewalk and the dog wasnt on a lead. Still got some dog hairs in my spoke junctions Wheel is still straight and in one peice. So, what other weird/wonderful stories have YOU got to add? (remember whilst riding) Chris
