As for the sizing around the piston and slave cylinders, if you're talking in mm specs, yes they are different but not so significant. The piston nipples (if that's what they're called) is slightly different shape so depending on the CNC backings you use it may or may not fit. Although like with the TNN CNC backings you just need a bit of light grease to snap them if it's tight.

I don't see anything wrong with the search, at least to me it's like searching on Google or eBay, use quotation, plus/minus symbols and either search through the threads or title (which I do mostly).

It's powder coated. Even says so on the site I know they sell fluro-color in spray cans...

ENO trials, you can't compare the quality not to mention you can buy small parts if anything breaks.

Use the bathtub if not the sink. I usually undo the slave cylinder bleed plug, submerge the cylinder underwater, pump the lever with the cylinder open to get most of the air bubbles out. Take your finger & plug the opening, squeeze the lever (to create pressure) then let go of the lever & the your finger. This should suck the water back in. Just make sure the slave cylinder end is submerged the entire time. Repeat this cycle few times to make sure no bubbles are still inside, thread the bleed screw back in underwater & you should be golden I know there's a tutorial here somewhere but too lazy to look up.

How high was the bridge he jumped from the ever so popular video? Seemed like 15' at least?

I'm not sure why they would cause to lock up but at least with sintered pads, they're generally designed for long term braking like XC & DH. Another reason why organic brake pads are excellent for short term braking like for trials. Sintered pads also have more metal compared to any organic or semi-metal pads so they will wear down your rotor much faster. Just a thought...

Their website has the details on how and why. I'm assuming they work since a lot of professional athletes use them. Not sure how much of their claim is true but I'm sure they have some benefits. I just would never wear them unless I can wear long pants or sleeves to cover 'em up

KMC K710/K810 is 1,300kgf and if you really want something beefier, go with Wipperman 1G8 for nearly 1,500kgf with the straight plates. They're pricey but if you're breaking KMC's than you either need to consider something stronger or change your riding style (unless you truly have massive horse legs )

Everyone's going to give there "this > that" opinion but try it out, you can't go wrong with either CNC backings, much stiffer than plastic. Personally I'm very happy with the Phat pads but Heatsink pads are great also...

Trialtech is very nice, I found them to be slightly flatter so I ended up rotating the bar a bit forward, hasn't really affected my riding. Though if you want something with more sweep, I'd look at V!Z or something similar.

I roughen them up, yes it does slightly melt the surface but never had a problem, if anything use sandpaper. Then again if you use pads like Phat it's great straight out of the bag :$

I personally wouldn't use this for long term use especially any heavy weights. I've talked to runners that use the weight vests and they all recommend short term use or with light weight training. Unnecessary stress in areas where you may expose to serious injury. Ride/going to the gym would be your safest bet.

If the backings have a play...probably has to do with tolerance and whatever else the backings suffer from constant braking...still ponder how the Rock blue's sometime explode in half. With that said I've checked my slave cylinders and they look fine. Phat pads have a very tight fit as in it doesn't wiggle around.

With new pads I did, like Rock blue's or any pads with a shiny surface. Didn't have to wait for it to break in.
