rims: i think it depends how you ride, if you ride like a brick than i dont think they will last but if you ride demi-smooth they should last. Tyres: hots aren't bad but i would personnaly choose the maxxis DH minnion Ratio: i found a gear ration thing on someones signature, think it may have been 'onzaboymarks' or one of the administrators

my mate had a pair... ... my god were they a load of rubbish. he poped his so much, levers were soooo long, get the HS33.

im glad the tyres are, because i had a puncture and when i squezzed the tyre it went down :P anyway, use metal tye levers, its what i use. :-
