The interest a month would be a hell of a lot more than that. The average interest rates are around 3.9% a month so even if you blew 20 million and only had £80,000,000 left then interest a month would be... wait for it.. £3,120,000 thats over 12 million a year in interest. To put it into perspective thats £4642 an hour to spend, assuming you can stay awake 24 hours a day, lol I bought a ticket and got nothing, lol. But as they say, you have to be in it to win it.

Well i was royally shocked when i opened my pressies today. I got: A set of keys and V5 documents for a 2.0L volvo 480 es A cheque for £300 to cover my insurance deposit The usual chocolate Deodorant A calendar I'm over the moon to say the least, considering i don't get much for xmas usually. Hope everyone had a good xmas frenchman

I dont thik it would be a problem. Its a case of finidng insurance companies that will insure you. I got a car today for xmas and thats a 2.0L 16v petrol volvo and some people turned me down straight away and after some searching around i have found a semi reasonable quote which i will hopefully be takiing tommorow Spend a few hours phoning companies that specialise in modded cars etc (adrian flux for example) hope this helps frenchman

I work as a barman for Plymouth argyle football club :S Part time work, pretty flexible hours, reasonable part time pay, £4.50 an hour. I do a lot of functions. Birthdays, meetings, trade shows etc I absolutely love doing it :( Loads of fun and i have been friends with all of the bar staff for years so we all have such a laugh. Glass collecting, waiting is a doddle and as your 17 i would recommend doing something along these lines. As regards the law with underage barmen i think its something along the lines of if your under 18 your allowed to serve but not take any money.

O.k. The 106 rallye is a great little car and i was dead set on getting one as its the closest thing i could find to a mini but after numerous hours of flack from prawn i have finally seen the light. Its still a peugeot 106!!! Anyway the 106 Rallye is peugeots stripped out lighter 106, there are two models, the earlier S1 with a 1.3 engine 100ish horsepower and a 7300rpm redline. Then there is the S2 which is the newer one, rounder etc and a 1.6 engine, still only a 100 odd hp but bags more tourque at the detriment of a lower redline 6500 i think. Insurance can be a bit of a problem with these cars the S1 being group 9 and the S2 group 11. My mate had an S1 and at the age of 18 with no ncb third party fire and theft was paying £1400 which was by far the cheapest available to him. Expect to pay £1500 upwards for an S1 and an S2 at the very least £2300 these are becoming enthusiasts cars and very few of these were made i believe only 1500 of the s1's and even less of the s2's. All in all the rally is a good car that handles very well, (as tic said go kart and hes refering to the standard 1.1 not the rallye with revised suspension)But isnt worth it for a yound driver, your paying as much as you payed for the car in insurance premiums. It all depends on age etc but im guessing as you have just passed your test you are 18 with no ncb so i would stic to something below group 6 ish. It all depends what you are looking for in a car, something convenient, economical or something that handles well and fast. A few good cars: VW 1.0l polo insurance group 3 VW 1.4 polo insurance group 5 Ford KA group 3 a little punto is a good little car and joe may have spent a fair bit on his but the money you say he wasted he actually saved by opting for a car with a smaller engine. Arguably the best car to go for is the classic mini, group 3 insurance, great handling and one of the only cars with a personality my choice tenfold but its all down to personal prefence. Gav does indeed have a pug 205 gti but has installed an Mi16 engine in it, thats peugeots 1.9L 16 valve engine which puts out 160-170 hp, Ivor Saunders also has one (well he did last time i saw him) very nice cars and stupidly fast ( 0-60 in around 5-6 seconds and 130-150 mph (Y) ) too bad insuranc eis high on a gti (Y) Anyway check out ebay for rallye's usually a few on there just search for RALLYE. And check out the 106 owners club site, very informative: www.106rallye.co.uk Hope this helps Cheers Frenchman
