I Agree with most of what steve has put aprt from Me and someone else were talking about this the other month, this is actually a downside to sponsorship, yes it sgreat to get hands on the new parts before they come out, but as for prototypes, there are usually several prototypes as there are things wrong with them, so i'd say thats a bad point. Sponsorship in trials deffinatly isn't nearly as good as in other sports, its only the very top in this sport that can make a steady living from it. Read waynios essay on sponsorship and support

Takeshis castle almost its from Seki, Japan the other year, the worlds. haha monsoon like conditions in Japan at the worlds, some of the sections had to be cancelled as the river swelled up so much it was dangerous, vincent hermance fell in and someone had to catch his bike downstream to stop it gettong swept away. An observer fell in and keita had to garb onto her to get her out. Funniest bit though, there was two sections down an embankment in a flat bit next to the river, there was about 20-30 riders down there and we all just turned round and ran when we saw the water coming down the mountain lol happy days

that surley cog should fit, the bashguard fo r bt is to be used with an 18 tooth cog or smaller

like Ali said the tensile bash rings are strong just use one of them

I always have this problem, no matter how much i do my spokes up, what hub i run etc, i just set my pads a little futher away, but that isnt really the soloution, might have a look at my chainline tomoz, see how that affects it.

I found the best a quickest way to get a freewheel off is as anal said, bolt the tool down to the freewheel/ crank not mega tight, but tight enough, clamp the tool in the vice ( a decent vice) then slide a 2-3meter scaffolding pole down the crank arm, will come of easy then.

I ran one for the worlds and they are good, have a nice strong axle in them. Could be worth looking at the new bt hub as well, as this has a strong axle in it, although its only available in red. available here

Anyone up for riding some natural this week? can travel to most places matlock, yorkshire, essex etc or somewhere like wales if its for 2 days. Im not working at all this week, so anydays.
