Does anyone know the tollerances that the threads for the fitting of front freewheels/sprockets onto cranks are I know the thread size is 1.37" x 24 TPI just wondering if anyone knew the tollerances in manufacturing?i'm guessing that there made to a high tollernace otherwise there would be slipping/ threading?

I've been trying some of the new zhu tenisoners and the moe bb for a while now. The Zhi tensioners are damn good, nice and big and offer plenty of adjustment. I had trouble finding decent snail cams before the only ones i could get on with were the monty ones but these new zhi ones are ace. As for the moe bottom bracket well, It's a Echo BB basically which are immense but the moe BB is around £20 cheaper than the echo lol. So if you want an echo bb just buy the moe one and save some money.

The only good I can see from it is that you would know who is the overall number one i guess, but anyones who has been to the worlds would know that the 20" sections are usually crazy buzy with people trying to push in all over the place, add the 26" in to that as well it will be bad, I'd be intrested to see what there plans are for starting? maybe UCI style? If the merge does happen I can see alot of people changing to UCI which is a shame as the BIU worlds have a nice feeling to them especially when your away for a few weeks together. Like Fred said the current rules work well, just scrap the gear rules.

Well theres good and bad points, there are 4 proposed rounds as follows July 26/27th : Spain (Burgos) August 02/03rd : France (La Tour de Scay) August 09/10th : Italy (Milan area) August 23/24th : Japan (Itadori) should be a nice long road trip, but those that were at the worlds this year will know about the proposals for next year to merge catagories the 26" classes will disappear and everyone (20"and 26") will ride in the same class. Prepare to que for hours! lol all are just proposals at the moment, I hope the merge of classes doesn't happen. Full article HERE What do you all think?
