when im at uni im just down the road in loughborough, notts is pretty rubbish for riding in my opinion you just get moved on everywhere, can think of loads of better places nearby

im not sure on the biketrialuk situation tom but i know ukbiketrial are having a meeting in Feb to sort it out.

excellent work john and co, can't wait to get up there again now to do some riding, so many things i want to try up there, looking forwards to camping up there (nearby) again in the summer and spend a few days riding.

Ben's injured at the moment, im sure he'll be back strong later on in the year, Yer everyones still fat from christmas, the amount of 5s going down in the final especially on the 1st lap shows that its really early in the year i think, although gilles was an animal!

Bens just left my house for another 3 hours of driving back to his house, was an awseome trip, we got back at about 2 am this morning. HAd to have a sleep on the ferry home and an hour in the car as i was tiered from staurday night lol. The comp was good and the sections were about the right level i think, the flags were annoying and confusing though. my riding was pretty poor, too early in the year lol and still ill. Think Joe oakley had a top ride a second lap for just 1! if he could have had 3 laps like that he'd have beaten the font. Rob did really well to finish 8th in qualifying and tom to qualify to. Ben qualified for semis in his 1st world cup to. Really looking forwards to Barcelona, hopefully be able t get some practice in before that :> hopefully there will be loads of brits there again to!

You don't need an ACU license, you get the club membership for the year which includes the license you need for the year. Theres no qualification like at world cups etc, its more like a normal club trial 3 laps of 6 but UCI rules so you still have blue red yellow etc You can choose what sections you want to ride, you can ride any of them apart from black i think where you need to be seeded, either by finishing top 3 in yellow?? or being a british master or elite. so yer you can ride blue or red just have a look at the sections before, it's nice and relaxed so no worries. Scrumming is very dangerous, fancy some friday night in belgium?

Hey I'm Patt, right here goes hehe, which ryan air airport are you flying to girona or reus? reus would be the best, from here you can get a bus from outside the terminal, they fit in with the flight times, this will take you to Barcelona sants the main train station, from here you need to take the manressa-terrasa train and get off in sabadell. There are 3 train stations in sabadell south central and north, so it depends where you are going to stay. Hotel Sabadell and hotel Urpi are the closest to the park. for these got to sabadell north and when you come up from the underpass, you need the exit on the roundabout directly opposite you, this goes downhill, follow it down and you will see the hotels. This time round we needed a room for 3 people so we stayed at hotel husa Valles this is a bit futher from the park, about 10 minutes by bike/foot. for this one go to sabadell north, then take the number 9 or 7 bus and it will take you straight to the hotel and only costs 1euro 25c. or there is usually taxis outside. If you can try and go with easy jet to BCN El Prat airport it is the closest and cheapest. you can take a train from here to sants again then take the manressa- terrasa train again. The park is good for a few days, you have to be creative, but there are many more places to ride, if your into street i recomend terrasa and for natural barcelona coast or torredembarra. If you need any more info just ask. I should be going back about that time again so maybe see you there.

Yes we went to that wall but didnt ride that far down, it is soooo scary there haha, the bit we rode was bad enough the pictures don't do it justice at all!! Looking at going again march/april so will let you know, reminds me I have to ring Ben, he tell you his new name that pete doherty gave him? lol
