I haven't been able to ride much this year because of injury and traveling for work. But finally had a chance to get out the other day and recorded a couple of quick clips on my mobile. HD version is available on Vimeo. https://vimeo.com/73003841 Vimeo Video -> Original Video

Hi Ads, Coust Pads and the Crewkerz rims. I noticed the front rim is flexing a little but the back doesn't seem to be.
-
I've been using my 2014 Maguras for a dew days now, and honestly they feel pants compared to the 05 ones, so flexy, it's a shame as they look cool on the bike. I will keep riding them a while longer to see if I can get used to them, will let you know how I get on.

I will get mine tomorrow I cannot wait!

Hmm, The video definitely doesn't show how bad the sections were, I was there and it was a mess. It was even difficult to walk from one section to the next without falling over, spectators couldn't really walk up to the sections as they just fell over I don't think any riders were complaining that they had to ride in those conditions, sure everyone prefers to ride in the dry and the sun but it was more the fact that the sections were not slightly adjusted to the conditions. On Saturday in the qualifying that wasn't really a problem as the danger to the rider wasn't so much. But some of those jumps in the final are huge and really pushing the limits of those riders. You only have to look at the score of someone like Andrei, an amazing rider, who has done endless comps around the world, I remember in Japan in 2005 where so many sections were cancelled during the trial as the conditions were like a monsoon but the sections were not dangerous still. Andrei didn't even make it out of one section in the file which I think shows just how big that stuff was. It's not good for the sport when people come to watch and see just 3 riders finish a section in the final and some sections which were impossible for everyone. Also the lack of a wamr up area didn't help, when you have 50 riders trying to warm up on 3 logs it just isn't fun. I feel sorry for the organisers as they did put alot of effort into making those sections, they were there for over a week and in the week we had 24/25 degrees then on saturday 5 degrees and rain so that wasn't easy. It's just a shame they didnt delay by hour or something and a quick change of the marker positions to make the sections a little easier. But your right at the end of the day the sections are the same for everyone and if you look at the results the order is probably the same if it is wet or dry, it was just the unnecasary danger in some places that put people down.

Hi Mark, how is the "offset" of these cranks compared to the ty-alls. Not sure if offset is the right word but in terms of clearance for brake cylinders? They look nice but the same weight as the my trusty Try-Alls I need to be convinced to change

here's a video from a chilled out session at my local spo one day last week, it's still too wet/boggy there for any run ups, so alot of static moves. Vimeo Video -> Original Video

+1 for the Onza Genesis forks, mine have been amazing, stiff and strong. Sure the trialtechs are great as well, but I prefer the Genesis ones.

Mad Tryout Day! Want To Ride For The Mad Demo Team This Year?
grantham replied to Joe Papasnap Maher's topic in News
Filling in my CV now!!! Cant miss the chance for a free t-shirt and hat!!! Sounds like it will be a fun day. I guess for CVs its not all about riding, what are you like as a person, the team is away for long periods sometimes so we spend alot of time hanging out away from riding to, so that is equally important. -
Cheers Jack! Yer the comps are alot of fun still remember Japan in 2005! the fieworks!
-
Cheers Nick! I might be back in the very last week of October for one week if your about?

I have been on my Limey 4 now for about 6 weeks and it's one of the best frames that i've ridden in years. The best bike ever for me was the hydroxx and I've been through a few bikes since that one but never found anything that came close but I am in love with the limey 4, great geometry, stiff, chain tension/brake set up is perfect, really great bike! I had a little play on a genesis to it's a nice bike but the limey is definitely my favorite. Great work Onza!

Sweet thanks for the answer, I also overtightened a set of try all clamps before! But will definitely order them again now Thanks for your help.
-
HI all, I was wondering whether anyone has experience with both of these clamps. I have used try-all clamps in the past but I am wondering if the TNN clamps have more/less/the same amount of adjustment. I know on Tartybikes it says TNN have an extra 2mm adjustment but it says nothing on how much extra the try-all clamps give. Any help would be much appreciated!

For the lockring tool/interface what about a cassett tool?
