It wont be easy. 1st Clues: Its a Mod Bike Circa 1999 It was a Very Rare bike The Frame Was Hand made By a Famous Welder. Thats all for today. Most Germans Didnt Know About the Halocuast. They did get Made to belive that Jews Were the Reason that Germany was on the Verge of collapse after WW1 (this was Actually Britain, France and Americas Fault). Yet they were led to belive that Jew were just being removed from Germany, Not Slaughtered and Experimented on. I can understand How Bad the Holocaust Was, and whys its Significance should never be forgotern. But I dont get why People think it was the Worst thing to ever Happen and All Germans at the Time were Evil. Yes they did do alot wrong, and the GEnocide of a Race of people would never have worked. Having Been to the Haulcoaust Exibition ive seen as close as I can (without being alive then) what happened there and what was done. But some of the Work Pales in Comparison to what the Japaneese were doing to the Chineese Before WW2 and To the Americans During. The Japaneese tourtured and killed for sport, they raped, pillaged and experimented on the Chineese while they Invaded their Contry and Took over 95% of it in the Most 1 sided Battles ever recorded. Yet No one really cared becasue it was Too Far Away, and the Allied Nations Couldnt be botered to sent troops to save the Chineese no matter how much they begged for Help. Yet Hitler Invaded a small European Contry, only Killing 5 or 6 people to do so and was instantly decleared war Apon. And this was Before the "Jewish Problem" plans were drawn up. Also once USA Had declared war on Japan (for the Wrong reasons) the Japaneese Tourtured American POWs Just as Bad. Iwo Jimna Camp had one of the Worst Tourture Reputations of the American Campaign. Japaneese Soldiers Would March American Troops 2 Miles, with heavy Loads, after they havent been fed for weeks, and if one fell due to exhaustion he was beaten and left to die on the Floor. And when Senior Officers tried to help their fallen Men, they were beaten and Forced to March on. They also Used an Awfull technique Called the Water Tourture. They would force Soldiers to drink Water untill they were physicly Swollen from it, then Jump on their Stomaches until it exploded. Yet no one has Ever Labeled the Japaneese Like they have the Germans. Also Take the Russians, they had such a blood lust after Hitler turned on them that they forced Men and Childern to Fight in Un-winnable situations. Anyone caught retreating, no matter what was shot. The Russian Tactic was to keep sending men in until the Germans Ran Out of Ammo, they would brutally Murder Any Germans they came Across, no matter if they were a soldier or not. The Halocaust Claimed Approx 6 million People, and this is said to be to worst tragedy ever. Yet Russia Lost 11 Million Men and Childern in the Attack On Germany Allone. This doent Include the Rest of the war. Hitler was Said to be the Worst Man Ever to live, yet He never Killed anyone in the 2nd World War, and alot of the Killing of Jews was Carried out un-autherised by other Nazi Armies. Hitler Simply created a scapegoat out of the Jews for the State Germany was in after WW1. I dont see how thats any different to Bush Creating a scapegoat out of the Muslims for 911. Just that modern socity would never allow Bush to Build comcentraion camps, Just Quantanimo Bay. I am in no way stating that the Holcaust was "nothing", exactly the Oposite. Just that I feel it wasnt the Be all and end alll of attrocities during WW2

If the Cambelt has Failed then that Shoud be Done under Fords Warranty. If the cambelt is not due Until 100K Miles and its Failed after 60K I would have spoken to Ford Customer Services 1st. They might have replaced the whole lot under Good will due to premature failure. Even so, something sounds dodgy about that gararge. If they have already stripped the engine down and ordered parts without your consent I would be very sceptical. Gives you no chance of verifying the fault, and getting a better quote elsewhere. I would have asked for the car back, and if they have worked on it without your permission thats their problem. Lets hope they are right and it gets it fixed.

Wrong, 99% of cars will still turn over with a snapped cambelt as the starter motor drives the Flywheel. If the camblet has snapped the engine will turn over, but will spin faster, and sound different. Your way off, A compression test on those engines is a hard and involved test. You need quite a few ford specific tools, and the glow plugs are hidden down the back, behind the inlet manifold. The 1.4 DuraTorq TDCi Engine is a Ford/PSA Engine, it uses a very high Tech EEC V Common rail fuel injection system. Its not the type of system you can look at at home, or in some back alley garage. My 1st tip would be take it to a Ford Main Dealer. Expencive yes, but to succesfuly diagnose this type of fault you will need use of Fords FDS diagnostics computer. Could you give in more detail what happened when it cut out? Did is loose all power then cut out, did any lights come on the dash, was there any noise? These engines are designed to take care of themselves in this sort of situation, where if something fails it will Run in LOS (limited operation stratigy) ie limp home mode and will bring on lights on the dash to corespond with the fault. EAC Fail was a common problem on those cars, which most of the time could be cured by taking to a ford Dealer and having the PCM (engine computer) re-calibrated with a more up to date Calibration. As previously stated you cant diagnose a car Without Seeing it in the flesh. You might find FOrd can Diagnose it, then you could have a friend carry out the repair.

Dont bother with any of that. You want a product called JB weld. Its basicly a cold welding solution. You get 2 tubes, 1 of Expoy steel, and one of hardener. It has a Tensile Strength of 3960 PSI, is resistant up to 500 Degrees F and Can take Machining ect. I have used some of this to repair a damaged Cylinder head on my car, and When i had the Head Skimmed to flatted it down, the areas of JB weld not only held, they caused damage to the Skimming blade due to being so hard. It was an Alloy cylinder head, so it will have no problems on your frame. Just grind the aea you want back to bare metal, stick your bolts on and leave for 24hrs to cure. then your done.

Thats a Standard M10x1 Thread. You could repair the threads on your axle with a Die, or thread repair Kit. Failing that Any bike shop should be able to supply you with an axle. Simple to fit, and cheap to buy. Also No Reason the Hub shouldnt last a long time if adjusted and fitted correctly. If the Threads on the Very end of the Axle are damaged an Emergency repair would be to cut the damaged threads off, or if your clever, smooth them off ad use the bare axle as a lead to make a start for the Remaining threads. But for the Effort involved you could go to the Shop and get a new axle for about £6 and fit it in 10 mins

Thats an Abortion. You dont need a tensioner, you have Horizontal Drop outs. Even if you do need one, why bother trying to make one fromthe remains of a car Crash? Stop trying to re-invent the wheel, and look at what works. The best tensioners are simple, clean and compact.

It rides Rel Nice Really Prefer it to my Old GU. Its got a good geomatry for All round riding.
