I Agree with your old man. The Bike isnt that Old, Why Not give it a Chance. You wont suddenly Become a better ride just because you have a More expencive bike. Some of the Best riders Ive seen have Performed at their peak on a shit bike. Its not the Bike, its the Rider. Why Not concentrate your money on parts of the Bike that Need Upgrading when they fail. Hubs brakes ect. You could find simply Chaning the stem or gear ratio will completely transform the bike into something you could love.

Yes they are Amazing Forks. Mine are 12 years old, and Still going strong. They Arent Made Anymore, stopping being made years ago, so it will have to be 2nd hand. They have 1 weak point, which is the Join of the Steerer tube to the Lower Legs. They are bonded together and Have a small Pin in the front. This Join tends to Fail causing the legs to come away from the steerer tube. There are simple things to do to stop this. 1) Use a headlock. This is what I have done 2) Remove the Pin and Replace it with a bolt that goes all the way through the Forks. There are 2 kinds of Fatty Forks, the Main Difference being in the Disc Mount. Early Forks had a slotted dick mount to allow for adjustment, Later forks were simpley IS disc mounts

Not as Good appently. Some of the features it has are good, but according to reveiws the touch screen is unresponcive and poor quality.

I had something Like this Years Ago. Was trying to Back wheel a Concrete post, and I missed with the Back Wheel. I landed on the Drop out, which slid along and shot the bike out from UNderneath me. Then I landed right across my back on the post, Like that wrestling move where they drop you over their Knee. I got up, stumbled over to a bench and managed to sit down. Had a few Friends Asking if I was ok, then it hit me. My vision Blacked out, and I went Deaf. Had people shouting at me, in my face and I couldnt hear anything. Was told I went pale white and slumped over. I could barley move for about 10 mins, then My vision came back, but was very blurey, couldnt make out colours either. Also I started feeling Nautious. Then My Hearing started coming back, just like in Saving Privite Ryan, when Tom Hanks Gets Shell Shocked. After the Adrenaline wore off I was in Agony. I couldnt move my legs, Was just able to move my arms and panicing over the loss of sight and hearing. I rested a while on the Bench and when i got enough movement back in my arms I had something to drink. My Hearing and Sight came back to Normal withing about 20 mins, but I couldnt walk for a few days and had Back problems for a few years after that. That was a massive shock to my body and it started shutting down, was Lucky that it managed to come back "online" again.

its nothing to di with the Anithetic Effect of Cocaine, its to do with how it works. Cocaine works by entering the Blood stream, and when it gets to the brain changes blood chemestry there to create excess endorphines ect to give a High. The reason coke is snorted is because your nose is one of few places on your body that has blood vessels so close to the Surface. Vagina is also another, thus you get more effect from the drug, because more can enter you blood then your brain.
