What you've missed here is that despite the fact he "explained" The System, there is no guarantee that system would work. While the probability made sense to the nation, and they bought it, there was never going to be 100% odds that the last person would place a winning bet. It was still a mutually exclusive event. The more important part is that he deliberately took over from that person to place their bet for them(and he changed it), much like he took over to do the numbers on the Lottery prediction. In reality there's no probability involved at all. While he appears to explain things, and people have accepted those explainations in the past at least, he's actually given away nothing at all... Although that was painfully obvious with the Lottery one, it's was a little less obvious with The System. The System was still an illusion, and not actually down to the explanation he gave. This is why Joe Public seem to be upset by the Lottery stunt as they realise they've been fooled. whereas they didn't realise they'd been fooled with the System.

Good to see that video, strange to think it only happened yesterday! Chi-ching That drop blew everyone away, don't think he told anyone what he was up to other than a "drop" for the first show. The second show then in the afternoon, as he was making his way up onto the van everyone in the arena just packed round with cameras ready after word had spread about that first show... Was mental!

When Ratcliff linked it to me the other night when I got in, it'd been online for 2hrs. Before the video had even started as such I knew there and then that it was going to be one of the most important riding videos (regardless of discipline) of this age. And now it's been all over the news, the internet and TV within 2 days. This changes everything. I've probably watched it about 20-25 times and I'm still in a kind of dazed disbelief... Like I don't know what to do. Apart from put the rigids back on, get a smaller chainring and move down the road to Porthcawl.

In just 48hrs no less. Christ on a bike. Literally.

In 15hrs this thread has had 18,000 views. Says it all really. The most disgusting piece of bicycle riding I have ever seen. He puts trials riders to shame, he puts street riders to shame, he puts bmx riders to shame. I'm still nursing a semi. Excellent, excellent videography and editting too; completely tops it off.
