Track/timetrial bikes have very big sprockets in front. So there will be lot less pressure on teeth with 48t sprocket compared trials 22t or so. Thats because chain had to "rest" along more theeth with a bigger sprocket. So smaller sprocket, greater the pressure on theeth. I think that theet would just "grind" away with trials usage. (Y) My mate actually snapped his steel 22t sprockets while gapping... And he also "ovalized" aluminium one too.

I started riding bmx when I was 9years (so way back then) and progressed quite well, learned bit manual and ofcourse bunnyhop. I rode mostly alone 'cos no one of my friends were into bmx or biking in general. Then my friend Jukka started XC-riding and I tought that it that was cool. Then at same spring we went to local bike-expo and there was few Finnish top trialsers showing their skills. I was like "Crap man! That's something you don't see every day! Is that even possible! (I mean, I'm not a doctor but...)". Then I started trying those things on my trusty xc-bike and learned proper endo, pivoting and some hopping... Then there was my odd season when I started trails/dirt riding... I smashed my left knee and thought that it was bit unsafe sport... So I started trying to hop some rock with my bike and I found it really rewarding. Then I went and bought very cool Green Monty 221 X-Lite! So here we are... Trials the best sport in the planet!

Actually I want to replace the cylinder, NOT piston! The cylinder some how has scrathes inside and that rips the seals of piston...

Hi, I need help with removing the master cylinder pipe/bore (seen on top left). Lever is Hope Closed Pro (Like this one.) What tool I'm supposed to use? How to work it out? Any help would once again be big (Y) .

Yeah... :ermm: Those Sierra style rs originals doesn't suit for the style... I'm getting Minilites :P but it took all me money to built that car... It's 1971 Escort mk1 1.8l Pinto SOCH, kent cams (fast road), ZF 5-speed transmission, AP racing semiracing clutch kit, Custom made by friend exhaust pipe, old Weber Carbs, Group 4 rear axle and original LSD(!!), 5-link... list goes on and on... (i can't tell all specs in English 'cos I don't know jargon that well...) Very fun car to drive! I have also mk2 escort project in garage. mk2, I'm getting Cos YB engine... (Hmm... take a look at recent Classic Ford... (Jan 2005) two 800BHP mk2 Escos)

Remember to smear some lubricant to threads before you put the new one on. I used "molydbenium di sulfidi" grease, my mate used copper paste. (I'm quite sure that you know this though...)

My friend snapped his aluminium ones too... They went from straight where the steerer tube meets the crown...

KOXX BLOXX do not work good on plain rim... So, I would recommend some softer compound pads. RimJams Reds, Plazmatics, and Heatsinks should do the job fine. My advice is you need to go out and ride trials rather than getting bothered about some colour scheme... "Am I lookin' good?" "Erm, Is that a spot!"

What gloves do you wear? Sinisalo MECs What's good about them? I like that they are very simple and guite durable too. I have reinforced fingertips with superglue just in case. Would you recomend these gloves over others which you have tried in the past? I have had in past other Sinisalos, but these are the best so far. These feel lot more sophisticated than typical MX style gloves. How much were they? They were in bargain, about £10. Where did you get them from? I got these from FCF (Foxcomp finland)

I usually respect all the obs on my road in some what religously manner. "Now you the rock, please help me with this..." And I also know that if something goes sloppy it is my fault, not bike's or rock's. If it happens to be skipping freewheel... then it is my fault that I couldn't afford ENO. If it happens to be slipping rearwheel... then it is my fault that I didn't angle it probably.. Never hurt your bike!

I like seek&ride sessions in nature. Finding some spots that no one has rode before and messing around with some friends and pulling lines that make others >_< ... Then we ride with our personal technique(sp) and try to do things with different way than others. Natural trials is for me the greatest pleasure on earth. Some times it isn't easy at all but if you keep on trying and then "clean" your section it is so rewarding! F@#¤in' winter! I want to do natural!

No, My laydee is bit of sadistic but that is a nice thing usually.

I Love that turqoise(sp?)!

For road and maybe XC-racing theyr ok. Don't even think about fitting 'em to trials bike! (It is very dangerous and at least they will break very quickly...)
