  1. Information? HS-33 = one size fits all, his email: mika.makinen "at" fintrial.com
  2. Watch and listen the very end of that video carefully: "Sorry guys..." it is almost hearable! That was a nice "Ninja show", first it begins with very nice back flip to face plant, then he trashes places with whipping nuncha! I think that he was showing off to those chicks (not seen, only heard there)... Hehe... It is so funny vid! LOL, I apologize that I've ruined this topic.
  3. But still they were sold as "Bianchi" trial frames... So it is not a Crescent Illionois that have been painted after purchasing. Martin Kleivard (Sweden) bought all the rest 20 Bianchi frames, stripped the paint and refinished them in a nice cameleont purpleish to green color.
  4. Yes he is madeing/selling them for order but I'm not sure if he would send them aboard. (He is from Finland)
  5. This carbon Hi-Fi'st Mika Mäkinen makes all the parts by himself. That cf rotor is yet only at it's prototype stage.
  6. Geax Blade? Or Sedona? They are light and very good for front. To rear I would go for Maxxis Minion DH 2.35 SuperTacky
  7. Hi everyone! What pads do you prefer for 05 Magura Louise front disk brake to gain better lock-on. Magura "power pads" or EBC Reds? Some other make? thanks in advance.
  8. I asked Stan's No Tubes do they have 20" kits, they said that they have/could make them. :ermm: I will get some.
  9. I'm quite sure that new "Vinco(ish)" Onza is going to be longest for a while...

    Brake Pads

ZOO! Pads for smooth rim! Very good with tar! Now you go and get some...
  11. If I know correctly there is special rim tape that helps to seal spoke holes, the valve is atached straight into rim tape.
  12. Hi! Nice vid! I wondered if it is possible to treat 20"/mod tires?
  13. Nice style, nice riding, nice bike = crazy trials! CLS is amongst the best!

    Pad Reviews

Pads: ZOO! Pads Time used: ~3 weeks Rim used: Echo Mod (cnc lathed) Grind: Brushed at the factory Ceramic: No Brake used: Magura HS33 w/ new model brake lever What is your opinion of a working brake: For rear on-off full lock grip is desired. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Monty X-Hydra (short orange) pads have quite good grip but wear rate is poor with TAR, Monty very old Clear pads are squeaky yet offer only average lock and they wear very fast with grind altough they are not the softest, KOXX BLOXX are very good on ground but they eat the grind fast and suck on smooth/tar, the Magura Blacks are shite on every surface compared to everything. Tar: Very slight amount of new and good quality tar Review: These pads work quite well even on smooth and clean rim. I sacrificed modulation for über lock on and add very slight tar on smooth rim. Nice lock on, nice hold, no slipping at all BUT very squeaky! Official trials noice brake pads. These are of very soft compound and are will not last long with ground.
  15. It is quite hard to compare Stock and Mod gearing because their wheel size effects to overall gearing. My friend who is a BMXer always complains the lightness of my gearing. It is just because he isn't used to it. 18-12 mod gearing is spot on for trials.
  16. I saw a top finnish trialser (Mika Mäkinen Mika's page) riding at bike show and that looked wicked! I mean he was so smooth and could do things that I had never saw before. I started to imitate him with my very old XC hartail...
  17. I try to get some pics today me riding with Timeless lid.

    My ZOO! Python

    What a beaty she is...
  19. I bought the other day a Timeless "SemiMX" style lid and it is really cool! It has visor and looks like motorcycle trials helmet. I really like this flat white finish. This was 39euoros/about £25-30. This one has better ventilation than BMX style pots but this still protects more than normal MTB lids. edit: The only pic that I could find...
  20. CLS Vincent Hermance Ot Pi and Cañas, great show men but all that BIU and Monty hype is (Y).
  21. I have rode my Python for 4 days now and already I can gap a bit over 7feet pallet to pallet.
