  1. It's mental. There was literally the stairs, the upstairs landing and the attic ladders open. The rest of the rooms including the attic where full to the brim of plants. His leccy bill must have been insane.
  2. Mark, passat estate all day long. Mondeos are bland as hell and rot something evil. 1.9tdi passat will do all you ask.
  3. It was some smackhead who had a 4 bedroom house, but used everyroom to grow weed apart from the living room where he had a gas stove and a portable toilet . Some of the pictures of his house where ridiculous. Looked like something from Kew gardens.
  4. I just get some weird looks in the mini with the straight cut box. Got some strange looks when it made a mess of a corsa vxr too from some G's. They weren't impressed at all.
  5. I was on the jury of a week long trial about a drug bust between 2 gangs, witnesses were in for 40mins to an hour, and didn't really seem to interested. Seemed a pretty straight foward yes sir no sir affair.
  6. I didn't like my bb7s for commuting, the fade was awful. I'd try some Avid elixir 3/5s if were on a budget. I've had Elixir 7s on my xc bike for about 3 years now and they've been faultless. Avid even do a elixir 1 now for under £30 on CRC
  7. The only conclusion I've made from this page us if everyone thinks retail park meets are full of dicks, yet jarhead likes them, he must be a dick? The only car park meet I go to is Derby Dubs if I remember it's on, there's sometimes some good stuff there but it's turned into a sti/vxr/rs meet now and who's got the biggest BOV.
  8. On a similar strain went to a family meal on my girlfriends side of the family, after every quip and gag her uncle said 'I'll be here all week'. I dunno if he heard it on the car ride over but f**k me it got rinsed.
  9. To avoid paying for stuff that's not on your own garage, would you get away with a generator king?
  10. *waits for pictures of the wheel* /popcorn gif
  11. I found it easier to learn 1-2ft wheelies (with a half/quarter kick), then try and repeat those till I could control them and felt confident, throw a hop in and your about there.
  12. I always liked the fact I could comfortably lurch around off boost but then have power on tap. For a mini to have 100bhp N/A it'd be a pig to live with around town.
  13. Seems to defeat the object of replacing a cracked frame....
  14. Buy a lappierre at tell me why I bought a five and where I went wrong. I honestly regret not looking at the specialized range. They seem cracking bikes up the line. Nukeproof seem flavour of the month with most too.
  15. Jeeeesus Christ, was that 8 years ago?!
  16. I had mine in grey and I'm chuffed with it, with the lime green accents it looks pretty trick.
  17. This is the 3rd time since new year I've had to stop on the way to work to help out someone with a broken down car that's causing an obstruction. The first one a guy had broken down on.a roundabout, at the junction so was bloking the entrance. I stopped and another guy did to push him off the junction, after countless people had driven around him. The 2nd was a similar scenario. This morning coming to work on a busy dual carriageway there was a car on fire (only small). Everyone had huddled into the outside lane to get around which was causing a tail back. Given the fact I was in a delivery van with a fire extinguisher I pulled over, we put it out then pushed it off the dual carriageway as the slip road was downhill and about 20foot away. It's really really not hard to help people, and it makes the world go round that bit better, it amazes me that nobody has 5minutes spare to help anyone.
  18. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Speed, but the other 2 just seemed full of filler. There was something on bbc4 about a year ago called Formula1 the killer years, that was a great program too but pretty heartbreaking to hear some of the tales.
  19. What's the best thing you've seen on TV recently? I was flicking through Sky catch up and fancied a few suggestions of what I've missed on TV. For me, it's probably Idris Elba king of speed that was on over new year, the whole program was fantastic and I've got a lot of time for Idris. The section where they dragged Paddy Hopkirk in his mk1 out of retirement actually bought a tear to my eye. So then.. What have you enjoyed on TV recently?
  20. Ironic that your mini was fine .
  21. I'm running a twinty guide and codring bash lolol. I know the first time I did catch my chain it'd be game over, so better safe then sorry over here.
