Northampton seemed pretty god last time, well Northampton/oxford direction.

A chain to a wall anchor on my normal bikes and a wall anchor+floor anchor on my orange as well as a D-lock to the metal pipe running up the garage wall. It's not thief proof but it does look intimidating. There's 4 padlocks on the garage door too haha.

Anyone gonna turn up to tf meet 2?

Thought I'd tie up loose ends on my drift chassis before starting another build.. Shortened and tidied all wiring, just waiting on some more 3pin servo plugs to shorten my esc to receiver wiring. Shaved the infers out of the front hubs for more lock but will soon be modding this for a front motor setup which should be cool. Installed a front way one a few weeks ago which has made a massive improvement, car steers and tracks perfect now. Helps no end locking the back end up with the fronts still spinning.

Still gotta love Stan's buttery smooth riding, who's the young dude on the blue mod? He's got all the makings of a future world champ!

Are you serious? That's garbage. Sounds like some Disney shit.. Now we're talking..

I dunno if it's still going Paul but when I was at school we did entered a competition called formula schools, build your own petrol powered 1/8 touring car, develop it then race at silverstone paddocks. It was really good! We entered and came 5th after some bullshit schools who got sponsorship from local hobby supplies and manufacturers.

PBM racing in newthorpe, they're helpful guys and Andy the owner designed the original Schumacher mission! They only tend to stock good quality race stuff so for bits and bobs they can be quite pricey but for chassis kits/tyres and stuff they're spot on.

I had some falken ziex on the passat last time and they were ok, felt decent all seasons and seemed to give a deecent life at 12-14k on the front. Nothing to write home about but they were ok.

Came into a bit of cash so I thought I'd treat myself. Looking foward to the build on this one..

I love the guy near gt every end who goes in for a finishing blow, then the guy starts to get up so he's like- Woooooooow, what's over there..

There's a company on fleabay Danny called show plates, they did my pressed plate and the postcode is in grey on the black outline. Failing that anyone that makes plates will do them if you say there for show purposes
-
I thought they had to have the postcode/name of manufacturing to trace them back if there was any discrepancy with the plate, be it font or spacing.

Whhhhaaat, wynns do an rtv sealer Alex that's awesome and around 8quid. It's sealing the joint between my engine and gearbox on the mini now. It's also on my oil filter head which handles the oil from the crank journals so handles plenty of heat.

Planes always look awesome, but take up soo much space lolol. Now sporting more race friendly tyres, was going through a set of mini pins ever few meets! Recently had a big spec up on the cougar, -Medium flex front arms -HD shock bladders and a set of emulsion shocks for bashing -Gear diff running 5000cst oil, so much more stable out the turns -Savox SC-1528 high speed servo -Titanium turnbuckles front, rear and steering -Full range of springs front and rear (handles fantastic running a softer setup) -Full stainless screw set -Turnigy Nanotech 6.0 lipos (epic run times and speed burst) Fully enjoying buggies, might go for a 4wd schui Cat sometime for something abit more planted.

Off to Portland bill for a long weekend Friday evening with family, should be nice

Beginning of the vinyl interior wrap... Should look nice and bright when it's done hopefully, it looked drab and dull before..
-
You got the idea I was putting across Besides, why not?
-
Not really, my Ashton too an absolute hammering and that's still in service. What I meant by that comment was if that is 4months old and cracked, it HAS had a bloody hard time. Be it repetitive hooks, drop gaps to front ect.

Vinyl wrapping that will make it a whole lot worse a lot quicker, there's no good substrate for the vinyls to adhere to so it'll either pull the remaining lacquer apart or lift it off in a sheet making a future repair much more difficult. I'd either diy it Luke or bodyshop it. I can't see them charging the world for a roof. Edit- I've done the odd bit of vinyl for mates, nothing as big as a roof but interior trims and it's not too difficult if you did go down that route. In my experience the checklist to have is; -more time then you think you'll need -heatgun/hair dryer -a pack of good sharp single edge razor blades, you only cut once otherwise it starts looking shabby -some good anti static panel wipe to ensure its clean and free of any nasties that'll let you down -about 50 pairs of hands -plastic filler spreader/squeegee to pul the air pockets about Some people I know that do it daily have to me about some wrapping solution, that you spray on fridge and gives you 30-40 seconds of adjustment. I've never done anything big enough to warrant needing it but it could be useful to get you started on such a big panel.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread

Mountain biking Alex! My missus used to come out on her old bike and just watch stuff then she gained more of a 'I'd like to try that' attitude. It can be as easy or difficult as you like, for as long as you like. I'd seriously recommend it. -
Is that a crack on the bb shell too?
