  1. Someone obviously loves that Clio with the amount of time spent on it, how has that colour match on the wing been left soo f**king bad?!
  2. I've been pushing my climbs ALOT recently. Doubt I'm anywhere near as quick as you still Ed but my fitness and strength has improved tenfold.
  3. I've borrowed some 30mm rise 780mm Renthal Fatbars a mate had spare (he bought them for his Scott Scale 29er then moaned it rode like shit?! Figure that) so they've only had one ride. Fitted them this afternoon and hit the woods. Beast mode : Enabled. They work so perfectly with the Five, got all it's playful nature back and probably then some. Can absolutely rail it through the berms now.
  4. I borrowed some 810mm wide El Guapo Ancho bars for the orange last night and what a difference. You can stick it around corners like a mad man. But only being 15mm rise they've taken all the playfulness out of the orange. Can bearly manual and sucks at bunnyhops. Undecided as I loved its mini hd bike feel but it's just so good on trail.
  5. I only had 3 days there and loved it. We stayed on Southwell road near the lighthouse junction so was within 20minutes walk of the lighthouse. Looked epic for riding!
  6. Is that Portland? Stayed there a few weeks ago and spent a few evenings walking around the island, wish I had my bike so badly.
  7. f**k em both off and be happy. Lifes to short to get dragged down.
  8. Wide bars are the nuts!
  9. Fitted some 760mm bars to the young pretender, what a nice surprise!
  10. Nothing says successful Saturday like concreting down the new washing line post...
  11. Rear cassettes a 36/11 Ed, it's a vast improvement over the 32 front with that range. Before the cassette had abit of a flat spot around 4/5 gear where they felt too similar so the next up was abit to harsh at times, that's been remedied now thou and all gears feel consistent. I couldn't believe the reduction in drag, might be able to throw some crank flips in now.
  12. I'll say that's a bmx video, and you didn't read the content...
  13. We have a trials video section, bmx videos, why not a MTB video topic? I'll begin...
  14. Little beauty. I ordered a 34t raceface with some crc vouchers I got for Christmas, fitted it when I got home and it's great. She'd some nice weight, bars are a lot less cluttered and it's a lot quieter with pedal resistance not a problem unlike running with the guide. Stepping from 32-34 was also nice, the cassette feels a lot nicer through the gears, makes a lot nicer use in the mid range.
  15. This, and lukewarm baked beans with bread and butter for tea. Oooooooooophffff.
  16. Charge spoon saddle now on and a good muck off. On the back of the narrow wide topic I've just ordered myself a 34t raceface ring to drop the mech and stuff as well as a new rear tyre as mines bald as a coot. Other then that just enjoying it. I've been playing with shock pressures recently and think I've just about hot it dialled. Rides nice and soft but still very responsive and at times abit twitchy. Enjoying the decent mode on the shock more and more after finding a pair of balls...
  17. How's it performing Ed? I'm contemplating a 34t for the five.
  18. I don't think I've ever seen anyone pedal during a wall ride before?! Incredible video thou lads, I'd be proud if I had anything to do with that. Flipp looks to struggle more to manual with brakes rather then without!
  19. Come do it on mystreet and I'll think about coming.
  20. Jardo, go to a paint store and ask for a can of FSO L114, graphite. I found it looking through the colour chips at work a few months ago and it's a very nice graphite colour, suits wheels to the ground. Very very similar to the graphite vag use on there edition golfs or whatever they were.
