I just went a 20 mike hack through single track and woodland trails on the orange to the nicest countryside pub. Walked inside ordered a fosters and a bag of peanuts, realised I'd dropped the fiver I took with me! So all in all I was denied the refreshing ice cold pint that was placed in front of me, I've lost a tenner and then had to ride home insanely dry throated and hungry! Sucks.

The suntours should be deecent, but I'd try and find some older rebas etc. There good bikes for the money, Jenny's 8.1 has done everything my five has (allbeit slower and abit less gnar) but it still did it!

My favourites are the guys who just keep pushing and pushing then bitch when they get a knuckle in the chops. There should be more of those.

I'm saying if I had right of way and was left a 600mm gap to come through, I'd be knackered. I see your reasoning of if its close but nobody gets hurt its OK and I agree to an extent, but I do think that motorists take liberties. I have 1 tonne of steel so it's my right of way. I ride bikes the same as I treat cyclists, if at a junction I'm 4th in line I wait, I don't undercut. I dont nip on/off pavements to save waiting. I ride in my opinion properly and with care (I f**king hate riding on the road so I'm 20056% more careful/aware) but still through all my care and awareness I still find myself in shit situations that are down to motorists.

2ft is 600mm, the bars on my bike are 810mm wide. I've always been patient with cyclists as a driver, I wouldn't like it if people cut me up on mine so I take the time for others. It's only since owning a road bike I've become aware of how shite cyclist are treated on the roads.

Ignore the scabby toe nail... This hurts so bloody much. Knife just fell off the draining board (pro stacking, Jenny) and landed point down, it's only flicked a tiny bit of skin out but it's stinging so much.

My missus is 6ft and rides a medium 8.1 from a few years ago, it fits her well but she does struggle to hoof it around so you might just pass as a medium Tom.

On the 5 mile ride between my house and my parents I averaged 18.7mph and it's mostly flat. I was stoked as hell with that, it's weird, I can ride 15-20 mile fairly easily on my MTB without too much out of breath (obviously depends on terrain etc) but on the roadie I'm sweating buckets in minutes!

At 70mm its perfect in my opinion, spot on for the downhills but still plenty of space for all day in the saddle xc runs.

Sort of, but it just makes it all abit more faffy, if you get me? Then I'll need shoes to suit, then I might as well upgrade the five ..... I just like to jump on the bike and go I loathe them soo much. I can't avoid rolling them every time I try to put them on. They suck dick so much.
