  1. 5ish, I finish work at 4.30 but I'll push for an early finish to make sure I'm there.
  2. Thursday evening sounds awesome if we cab make it happen....
  3. Should've waited dude and bought my orange special . Just out of curiosity, what did you pay dude? Pm me if you don't wanna air it or ignore me if it's non of my business...
  4. Well, after looking at those terrible pictures I'm pleased to be putting these in here, I've had the afternoon on cleaning parts, refitting and a few hours setting up down at my LMS. Here she is! I know it's nothing amazing with it only being a Special 2 but I love it, I'm not 100% on the cream jack plate yet, the idea was to to paint all the pickup surrounds, rear electrics cover and new cream/gold switch and dial but I started to fit the bridge and liked the black. The pictures do the colour no justice, it's super course when the sunlight hits it, looks fantastic IMO!
  5. I'm pretty sure it's 50h, I'll drag out the manual..
  6. Yeah I'm keeping on, so far fishers have made all the right noises and advised I return it to Rutland. I wanted to avoid going through Rutland as I loathe them but they where the original vendor so needs must. I'm pretty sure they'll look at it and either put a new one in the post or return it with a bill haha. To be honest it probably is overdue a service if you look at SRAMs service timetable for them, but a service every 50h is abit OTT surely?!
  7. My sister had the 1400 3cyl tdi version of that polo, she wracked 120k on it and it was brilliant! Loved it, just a bit noisy.
  8. It arrived with me 12th march.. So 5 months to the day..
  9. I've read quite a few people have had similar experiences with their aftercare which Is a shame really. Reverbs have really got the market locked up but the reliability just isn't there yet. I can see why, a piston with 15/16 stone blokes dropping on it isn't gonna last forever but it's a shame. I've cut sram out and I'm trying Fischer to see if there's anyone else abit more helpful. I know they'll probably just consult HQ but it's worth a try. I would buy another one to be honest but aftercare like that just isn't worth it, when they work there work great, but when they aren't it's shit, if it goes the same way too that's £340/350 on seat posts in a year! I'll give you a shout Luke if I get to that point, I'll probably just swallow the shit pill and get it rebuilt thou to be honest.
  10. Well, I went out this weekend and it shat itself, everywhere. I emailed SRAM with the picture in here and a picture of the bottom of the post dripping fluid from the air valve. They've replied asking for a serial number and age of the post so I've attached a copy of the invoice and the serial number from the box. They're not willing to warranty it as they've had very few from that batch returned. We've exchanged a few emails and the best offer I've received is a discounted seal kit through my LBS. Not impressed. I'm going back to a solid post till something better comes along I think, I've heard nothing but good about the Thomson post but I've not got 280 to spend on a seatpost...
  11. You owned a '98 318 in possibly the worst colour they came in, on the worst wheels they offered. Top buying Mike Brewer.

  22. Seeing all the Facebook pictures of Tic and another mate thats out at whistler is really depressing, I've too many ties to just drop and go do something like that. Suppose there's a good side to that too but I wish I was abit more get up and go about stuff.
  23. Very very very nice, good smooth style.
  24. I've been massively impressed with the own brand lock ons that came on my Orange, they're not thin but they're fairly soft and very comfy. Lasted 6 months of daily riding upto yet and not worn too badly!
